I would want abortion to be illegal but the hyde amendment should stay what right does the president have to say that healthcare should be spent on abortion in his election he said he wouldnt tamper with abortion but he changes everything We the people should vote on this healthcare bill (that would be a direct democracy)

I'm Canadian. Here abortion is 100% covered by our health coverage, and for this I'm glad.

I'd much rather my tax dollars go towards a woman looking to obtain an abortion, then her give birth to that baby (and she already has like 3 other kids) and is living off welfare.

A woman should be able to control all aspects of her physiology, including the all-important bodily function of fetal deadness, at government expense. Ending the lives of unwanted children is a sacred right, not just up to the 3rd trimester of pregnancy, but for years after that.

Children are such a burden and punishnment. The prospect of producing them interferes with sexual enjoyment, they are difficult to instruct in proper Mao-thought, and minorities are having way too many of them. Kill!

"abortion is health care" Really? The Hyde amendment only denys TAXPAYER $ for elective abortions, not ones done in the case of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother. If taxpayers have to pay for abortions done on healthy, viable fetuses for no other reason but convenience, then taxpayers should fork over $ for botox and facelifts. Pelosi and Reid will thank you.
