also, I believe that the heaven that God talks about in the bible IS heaven on earth. When he talks about "US" reaching that goal of heaven, that place where peace is dominant, where everything seems right is talking to "us as a society". Someday in the far far far future, we will hopefully be able to make earth a heaven for us all to live in, that is what he means in revelation by the end of days will be greeted with the kingdom of heaven defending on earth. Heaven isn't a place, it's an idea.
I never realized how many conservative christians there were on youtube until I made a comment on a video awhile back. I got fed up with arguing with them pretty quickly, and have avoided any religious or lack of religion discussions since. Religion allows us to become lazy in this life in "knowing" that there is a better one coming. If it wasn't for religion, then everyone on this earth would try harder to fix the problems we have. We could have heaven on earth.

@farmdogswife-- u clearly have no idea what ur saying. divinity, outer realms, gods, love, all we feel is just concepts of our minds. U believe in god n all imaginary things bcoz u had a PERSONAL experience which doesn't make it real, its real only for u. In order to prove ur claims, u need to provide evidences or demonstrate ur claims. Quit assuming things r what u believe without no proofs unless ur be able to demonstrate it.

do you know that saying your part of a group of people who believe in something pertaining to religion in fact are religious how about just saying i live day by day no guarantee of tomorrow this is how i view it atheism is just a another religion ok so live life embrace this is your only shot at this so make it worthwhile make your name known for positive influences.

Atheism is the LACK of beliefs n it doesn't say for sure there isn't such gods, we just say we DON'T know. On the other hand religious people say with absolute certainty there is a god. Just prove it then. Show us ur god is real. Tell this god to show himself to all of us at once.
@myfaith1969 i actually choose not to practice any religion because it separates the connection between people in our human bond i was baptized in a catholic church grew up in a catholic household but i have recently at age 15 given thought to more about life and the status of our world for anyone who practices or gives themselves a title is part of the problem in why we as humans cant advance and become one this is my vision not a vision of a book that has been interpreted for hundreds of years

Yes, you do need God. Without God you wouldn't exist. Ask yourself why ALL near death experiences are so flawlessly consistent with one another. NO matter what religion they die as, they come back as a christian. Don't believe me? Type in "WHAT HEAVEN LOOKS LIKE"
@rmcgov00leeuedu i have had a "near death experience" and i am still an atheist . i do apreciate life more ,i cherish every moment. i didnt become an atheist because of any scientist theries but simple gardening .growing up i kept a garden with my father ,we also had a compost pile and its there that i saw the true circle of life,we die we decompose we sprout new life (mostly plant life) witch feeds life witch dies decomposes and continues the circle. god has nothing to do with that.
@rmcgov00leeuedu First they are not flawlessly consistent, just similar. Secondly what most near death experiences have, is a lack of oxygen to the brain. Being chemical in nature we should not be surprised when the brain acts in predictable and similar ways when deprived of a base chemical.
Just like when we take a fish out of water, there are predictable results.
