Why does he show Old World of Darkness books when he's talking about how this book ties in to other games? Different system. Similar, but completely revamped. *snicker*
Well, is it really that good? In my country, the review I have read rather blasted it, stating that it is weak, cheap and generally shitty, not to mention bad glue, cover and many many grammatical and punctuation mistakes. So as you have easier access to it, could you tell me how it looks like, becouse frankly, I do not believe reviewers because I know that everybody has different taste.
I think its nice to know wich of the books that are usefull to setting for mortals. Just starting my own WOD play and is full of ideas and then agien blank so I think its nice to hear more about it :)
Good question. Right now I'm wrapping a Torchwood-style game using Con X and other full unisystem games. Next we're likely going to a BRP run Serenity game and this summer, a Savage worlds-powered Fantasy Game.
I've been a unisystem guy for a long time. Its time for a small break.
I ask because Torchwood gets alot of hate, especially from die-hard Whovians...but I personally feel that most of it (not all of it, mind you) is somewhat undeserved.
I figured you're the one to blame. ;-> That's no big deal IMO, really. :-) On the editing note - I miss that "put another cover/book in Kurt's hands" effect you did a lot in the past.
I actually thought it was statement for those that don't like the NWoD games: "The ideas in this book are good for the Old World of Darkness as well".
Where are you folks based out of? I wonder if we'll see you at GenCon.
In regards to WoD are you or Kurt running any of the genres? I sense that your gaming group is pro-mortals akin to something like Call of Cthulu. I wouldn't mind seeing a review off the new Mage game.
Is this the same spirit realm from W:tF?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
won't be buying it. all this "new" WoD stuff is crap. the changes they made to Mage alone... *shudder*

Why did you guys use the old WoD line covers instead of the new ones in this clip? Other than that - another great review. :-]

to be truthful, I didn't know any better. Please don't blame Kurt for my ignorance.

Thanks for clarifying.

While all the books can be used cross-genre, the Book of Spirits is strongly geared to the Werewolf and then Mage, and lastly the Mortals line.
Vampire can pull from it simply due to the how spirits can color the real world and affect how mortals and vampires react to their environment.
