  • Thank you for sharing you talent. Love these flowers, they are very pretty, I'm off to try them. P.S. Your videos are awesome!!!!

    Donna :-)

  • @123cardmaker Donna -- you are the Queen of Flowers! I am still in "practice, practice, practice" mode on those roses....I got a few to turn out pretty this weekend....I was winding them too tight -- they ended up like little brick roses! hee hee! I so appreciate you....thanks for your encouragement!

  • So pretty!!! I have got to try this!!! But first I need to get some Glimmer Mist....gasp, I know!!!

  • Sarah...if you have perfect pearls...you can make your own glimmer mist....water and perfect pearls in a spray bottle...or add a touch of a reinker (I like using distress inks...but just about any kind will do)

  • Great tutorial, you present these lessons so well. Thank you for making it enjoyable for all of us, regardless what our crafting exposure is.

    ~Jill

  • Oh Jill! you are too sweet! I am so right there learning with everyone else. if I ever start sounding like I know it all -- please someone come knock me on the side of the head! LOL...seriously -- I feel so blessed that anyone wants to watch my little experiments...thanks so much for all of your encouragement!

  • Beautiful flowers. I'll have to try that on some that I have. Very good tutorial.

    Leslie

  • Thanks Leslie...you got me in the mood to "experiment" and see what happened! *smile*

  • @WhatYouMakeIt1 Ahhh, experimentation is good. Advances our skills. Also, all anyone sees are the successes when we get it right. Love that part :-)

  • Thanks for showing us another way to give a watercolor effect on the white primas! I love learning and trying new techniques! Painting flowers is so relaxing too. Thanks again, Coleen

  • Hey Coleen....you are right -- there is something very relaxing about painting flowers...and how each one has a different result. Thanks for stopping by...have a great weekend.
