Bvlgari Man (2010) Fragrance Review / Mens Cologne

I love the smell of Aqua Marine, very fresh and sexy. Probably better for younger guys and not so sophisticated however. Reminds me of a cleaner, crisper version of Versace pour homme.

Thanks for the review. I purchased this for my teenage son by his request. And I agree it's a very mature fragrance. But he is a very mature guy. My nose gets very honey'ed wood after dry down and yes it takes a while for dry down and warm up. If it had just slightly more citrus and more floral mid notes I would wear it myself. I adore woody fragrances.

yeah you definitely need to like the violet leaves to enjoy this one. i find it REALLY floral in the opening. almost feminine. but i really like the dry down.

I remember years ago loving egoiste. I am not experienced with perfumes as haven't used them since egoiste but am just starting to buy a couple. What o you think of egoiste? I will go on your recommendation and test creed and chanel allure. thanks alot.

I just wanna add that i do really enjoy the thierry mulger scent and it definately lasted all day. I noticed you mentioned fragrancenet, Is that a good website to buy the above fragrances at reasonable rates. I am from Australia. Incidentally what is your background to get such a good nose?

@aussiemikerow I buy alot on eBay however you must be careful because there are many fakes, if you are looking for something in particular let me know I will give you the link to a good seller. Or fragrancenet is good too, if you buy from them on the weekend u get 15% off however I'm not sure if they ship to Australia, proba ly though. What are your favorite scents right now?

Thanks for the reply. I just bought A man by Thierry Mulger on your recommendation.  I didn't like the initial smell for the first hour but then it is really enjoyable. I will go and sample the perfumes you suggest. What is a good website to buy cheap dsicount perfumes? Thanks again mate.

@aussiemikerow Well I really like a few creeds such a's Millisime imperial and aventus, however a's far a's designer a few scents you cannot go wrong with are anything by Chanel especially the allure line such a's allure Homme sport, and another scent which is phenominak is l'instant by Guerlain pm me if u want more

Good review, I also was not impressed by Bvlgari Man. I actually sprayed it on a card and I thought I was going to like it. I then sprayed it on my arm and it had something that was really off putting. Kind of like a harsh earthy scent, like dirt. I didnt like it at all and 3hrs later I had to wash it off. I think its cause I sprayed two times on the same spot

BTW good finds on the Gucci I and II and Guccy by Gucci. I love all three, but especially II its very special.

I wonder if my samples are just weak because i cant smell it very well. Didnt seem to have more than 2 to 3 hrs longevity on my skin but maybe my nose just doesnt pick up the notes in this one. Hmm..

to clarify..i smell it at first.. but its not strong like some of you are saying. Its very light to me. Then it disappears.

Great review, my man. I agree with everything you said for sure. Its an okay fragrance but to me not one worth running out and picking up immediately. Sick bottle though! Good shit my man, good shit.

Thanks man, I'm glad your happy with our swap. And i agree with you 100% A*Men is better than Malt. IMO Coffee is better than Malt. I have the whole Thierry Mugler line and the original is my favorite, followed by Coffee. Thanks for your take on Bvlgari Man, don't waste your time on Black, unless you like a super close to the skin scent!

I found it cloying with just 1-2 sprays. I could not survive the top. Reminds me a lot like dreamer in terms of whether you will like or not. It's 50/50.

Hey man, NIce review, I agree it isn't anything special, but it is a nice smell. It reminds me a little of like chanel bleu , not sure why. Keep up the great job man. I do like this one though, I can understand why people might not be super impressed, Its nothing out there or super unique, but a nice smell nonetheless.
