  • The problem with the biracial identity is that it dont work, why? because hollywood and tv channel like BET makes it difficult for biracial people to class themselve as such. I think the best way forward for black and the suppose biracial people, would for biracial like Alicia key, Hallie Berry etc should stop playing black role. Most black people dont see biracial people as black, i know i dont. i think biracials should stop saying thing like blks are stopping them from identifying as such.

  • If someone is getting funny looks and not talking to someone it's not the fault of the person walking around. Also, every person has unique experiences. There are some people that get negative remarks/looks just because the look different (depending where they may live). I don't think you do this subject any justice by painting with a broad brush here.

  • DAYUM!!!! nigga you look yellow as hell. Exscuse my words but you barely have any color in you. Your features look black but your skin saids Michael jackson lol

  • @BlackSkullz09 lmao...I'm not even gonna get mad at a comment like that cause I have a sense of humor lol. I cant help it that I look the way I do man...

  • @Jouri21 no i wasnt tryin to offend it was just what i saw nothing negative :)

  • Sorry for all the repeat posts below. I thought my original post wasn't going through, but it did later ... five times! LOL

  • This is a good video and what HFU is saying below is patently silly. Some people are uncomfortable with the fact that biracial ppl even exist, and so they'll expect you to deny one part of yourself, which of course is sick thinking and illogical. And it's not like you're going to change for them. And who cares how others view you in Brazil or the US or anywhere else. You are who you are and nobody else gets to define you.

  • are you ludacris' brother? seriously, i know where you're coming from but society will always see you as black. that's the way it works in america. if you were in latin america then you would be a mulatto with its own distinctive privileges and biases. but no such luck here. you might as well be wesley snipes' twin brother as far as whites are concerned.

  • @HaveFaithInU Let me stop you as if you were saying that to my face...I identify as a Biracial person but let me tell you I'm not just some black dude, so when you make ignorant comments like that then you keep that shit to yourself. You reflect that shit on to yourself as an indiviual. You are exactally a perfect example of what I speak on in my other videos because of your narrow minded views of how people view Biracials!

  • @Jouri21 i think you know what i said was true and it HURTS! that's understandable. but using profanity and grammatical errors as a comeback only reinforces my earlier point that i made about you.

best of luck with resolving your identity crisis.

  • @HaveFaithInU No, you just wanna label me and put me in this category to make it seem like your proving some kind of point which you aren't. I'm not gonna place a certain label on myself just to satisfy anyone including you my friend. Second of all, dont tell how america works, unless your the one controlling shit, then you need to shut up about. Third, if you cant respect what I'm saying and where I'm coming from then there should be no problem for you to look else where you loser!

  • @HaveFaithInU It's funny that your dumb ass has a name HaveFaithInU but you talking dumb shit like this.

  • You said there was nothing wrong with being black, but on someones profile you said Hispanics are better than black . Can you explain that?

  • I've never said no such thing...I dont know where your getting that nonsense from...

  • Im Quad-racial and this issue is right on point

  • This video was inspiring. Being bi-racial myself. I never really fit in to either group. I never hated on either group either. I loved being mixed. but on a cultural level, I was "culturally" white. I was raised that way. Now as I get older, I try to be "culturally" become more black. but in the back of my mind there's always that little voice telling me ill never fit in.

  • It won't let me post a video response bc I've already posted it somewhere else, but I think you might appreciate it. Mine comes from more of a girl's point of view, though. I'm not half white/half black, but I have always dealt with a lot of race problems growing up!

  • Good video!! :)

I have a video of this sort posted on my channel about accepting yourself.

  • I enjoyed watching your video

  • Jouri21: Thanks for this. I have seen it both ways. Some of my biracial friends deny their black side; some deny their white side.

All whites are not devils and all devils are not white.

All blacks are not devils and all devils are not black.

    Awesome.

  • This is such an interesting video because it is helping people who are not biracial to understand their plight and it is helping biracial people to stop hating themselves AWEsone

  • Thanks for watching, I'm glad that I'm getting thru to alot of people, we all need to pitch in and help other Biracials raise up their self esteem as well!

  • Right on the money Joaquin. This was awesome.

  • yeah, i know jouri is very smart.i will rate more of your videos jouri, and let people more people in my channel and others to see them.yeah, most of the biracials at my school always deny their white, guess they're ashamed.but i mean it is part of who they are know what i mean.i am biracial, actually mixed.1/3 black, 1/3 white, and 1/3 hispanic, and i am proud of all my sides. it is a shame to deny part of who u are.

~thank u jouri for di video, keep them comin

  • You are very a intellectual person.

  • Thank you so much for that from the bottom of my heart, it really means alot...

  • I mean it too you really don't come by these kind of videos on youtube nowadays.

This video actually has meaning is really going deep into a big part of a lot of people lives (I'm not biracial but my cousin is)

  • This is a good vid. Most of the biracials I've met were raised in a black culture and try to disregard that they're even half white. It's fine if they're raised a certain way but that's no reason to deny what they are. They can never understand what I mean when I say I embrace both my white side AND black side. I'm BOTH and I could never just try to be one.

  • Ivp038: Excellent comment.
