The American dollar has no other way to go but down (sooner or later).
It has no real resources to share/offer the world, but instead depends on other countries to feed its demand on goods to manufacture and process.
If anything Canada would never agree to be tied to the American dollar, Canada is just scratching the surface on natural resources (Oil,softwood lumber,hydro electric,gypson,uranium,fresh water,gold,diamonds) to name a few.
America is scrapping the bottom and has been for awhile.
A currency backed by gold, and disolving the Fed sounds great, but we'll have a continental government. Of course later on down the road they'll merge the NAU and EU, yada yada, you see where I'm going. I think the only way we will advance as a civilization and species is to unite with the world. Europe went to the Euro 10 yrs ago and now that might be the cause of the breakup of the union. Greece and Spain are in the tank and need to be bailed out by resentful Germany (germans are usually thrifty). We can see a unified currency being played out daily so the success or failure of the Euro might go towards the Amero decision. However, to do that unilaterally and in secret would bring many unforseen consequences. Like a new government perhaps. One that abides by the Constitution.

Monty, I have to call bullshit on this one...consider the sheer quantity of currency in circulation, account balances, etc. If the Amero is backed by gold, than the issuer of these notes would have to have the volume of gold to back them up. Where would all that gold be coming from? And even if that quantity of gold did exist, what owner in their right mind would accept worthless dollars for claims against their gold? According to my figures, which I got from Wikipedia searching from gold, It has been estimated that all of the gold mined up until 2006 totals 5.6 billion ounces. At a $1000 dollars an ounce the value amounts to $5.6 trillion dollars US. This gold divided equally amongst the worlds growing population of, let's say 7 billion, amounts to approximately 0.8 ounces per person, which isn't a whole lot in my eyes. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I may be short sighted but the Euro didn't remove the identity of the countries who use the Euro as exchange. I have heard about this through people who fear this but it seems like a neutral move to me. But I usually have to be spoon fed this type of information because it doesn't compute unless explained to me like I was a three year old.

The American dollar has no other way to go but down (sooner or later).
It has no real resources to share/offer the world, but instead depends on other countries to feed its demand on goods to manufacture and process.
If anything Canada would never agree to be tied to the American dollar, Canada is just scratching the surface on natural resources (Oil,softwood lumber,hydro electric,gypson,uranium,fresh water,gold,diamonds) to name a few.
America is scrapping the bottom and has been for awhile.

A currency backed by gold, and disolving the Fed sounds great, but we'll have a continental government. Of course later on down the road they'll merge the NAU and EU, yada yada, you see where I'm going. But I'd rather them just dissolve the fed, keep our currency, get the debt under control, and then reinstate the gold standard. But of course that makes way too much sense.

Europe went to the Euro 10 yrs ago and now that might be the cause of the breakup of the union. Greece and Spain are in the tank and need to be bailed out by resentful Germany (germans are usually thrifty). We can see a unified currency being played out daily so the success or failure of the Euro might go towards the Amero decision. However, to do that unilaterally and in secret would bring many unforseen consequences. Like a new government perhaps. One that abides by the Constitution.

Always enjoy your vids, Monty. I do have to disagree with you on this one, primarily because of the timing. It seems to be to easy to say "Look at Europe, they agreed on a single currency, now a couple nations in trouble could topple the whole continent's economy." I just don't see now how "they" could sell the idea, that a single currency would bring economic stability, even with the lies that it would be backed by gold. Not saying they wont try, just not as worried about it these days.

The people in Germany in the 1930's and the people in Italy in the 1940's killed their political and corporate leaders when they destroyed the currency, it'll be no different here. Monty, I have to call bullshit on this one...consider the sheer quantity of currency in circulation, account balances, etc. If the Amero is backed by gold, than the issuer of these notes would have to have the volume of gold to back them up. Where would all that gold be coming from? And even if that quantity of gold did exist, what owner in their right mind would accept worthless dollars for claims against their gold? Sounds far fetched to me.

Regardless, one has to find a store of ones labor and right now precious metals is looking like the best way. My question is will mortgages be revalued. If the current debt in the US had to be paid off with a stonger new currency it would lead to massive default on an unimaginable level. It makes more sense just to hyperinflate the currency and wipe out debts. We know that the banks love to buy assets pennies on the dollar and massive foreclosures even by solvent owners would serve their goals in that regard.

I think most of us know there's a financial crisis, its just being cloaked. And for the most part we also know that the financial system will get worse in the futrue. Im not sure that this Amero is the percieved light at the end of the tunnel. The people will be the judge of that if the time comes. But sadly, the majority might, and probably will accept it, cut their losses and move on as they are told.

According to my figures, which I got from Wikipedia searching from gold, It has been estimated that all of the gold mined up until 2006 totals 5.6 billion ounces. At a $1000 dollars an ounce the value amounts to $5.6 trillion dollars US. This gold divided equally amongst the worlds growing population of, let's say 7 billion, amounts to approximately 0.8 ounces per person, which isn't a whole lot in my eyes. So will the Globe value a country by how much Gold they have in their possession and how much they can mine. Unlikely....I still go with "Carbon Credits" they have a two fold purpose 1) The sheeple have their entire carbon footprint under total control. 2) A credit is and easy +/- on a balance sheet and thus will completely try to control human behavior and actions. It will work similar to a Dog treat!

A currency backed by gold sounds like a good thing to me, Im from europe and we have the euro 10 years or so and its kinda been a good thing in the sense that i can travel around europe and use the one currency. I think its a good thing
