Ouch. I wouldn't judge too harshly on the military, at least until further information is brought up on the reasons for the team being fired. I don't like the US military much myself but it's still an rocky issue this one. No doubt AA3 is a laughing stock although it has plenty of potential just poorly conceived. It'll be forgotten in November.

theres some bugs right now but they will get fixed in the first patch my advice is dont play on severs than ping higher than 30 or else theres like a 3 sec lag. this games maps load all in like 4-5 secs its amazing gfx are awesome and its pretty realistic cant wait until the next patch

It seems AA3 was very badly optimised, alot of people seem to have really high end pc's but run the game at below 30 fps.

In its current beta stage, hopefuly this is fixed for the full release.

True, this game has more realistic weapon control and reloading, aiming, and firing realism, but graphics are part of what makes a game realistic, and in that department COD 4 wins by a long shot. I agree ArmA2 and OpF are light years ahead of the CoD franchise in terms of realism. However, no one seems to take graphics into account when discussing realism. If a game had vector textures, but 100% accurately portrayed weapons, everyone would say that it is completely unrealistic (and don't lie to yourself and say that you wouldn't).

If I wanted to see what firing a weapon looked and sounded like, I would pick AA. But if I wanted the realistic/cinematic feeling of warfare I'd rely on CoD
