  • I bet your motor gets pretty hot with that gearing. I'm running the same set up, different tires and gearing is 21/83 right now and after 10 minutes I hit 184°.

    With Anaconda Tires, 11.1 35c 5000mah lipo, and 21/83 gearing I hit 51mph

  • @Tintamar5678 it does , now run 25/86 with talons and it get very toasty

  • Sweet!

My Rustler is immobile right now because I let my dad drive on my 3s LiPo and he went full throttle from a stop and unglued the tires. Luckily I had another set but then I let my friend drive and he did the same thing... so I have to take my Slash's tires whenever I want to drive lmao.

anyways, nice vid and I hope youre enjoying "the LiPo experience!" Welcome to a whole new world of rc maitenance... -.-

  • @ZzoldpeopleburningzZ i know LOL im waiting for the day when i catch a car's tire LMAO

  • what ratio u think i should put on my rustler ?

  • @mariamad90 2.4 traxxas link, cheap, easy to use, and HELLA big range, it even has a failsafe B)

  • sweet :D

  • I love my 3s in the Rustler, I clocked it going 57mph with tallons that were coming off the rim, half stripped spur, and a street full of cars. Not the easiest thing to drive these things but it is well worth it!

    As always, great video!

  • @MonsterRCdudes still pretty fast O.O lol, and yea, its semi hard for me, but i can keep it under control, its turning at 60+ that is a challenge :D

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx Just a heads up, when you run Tallons with a 3s it tends to burn up the plastic driveshafts and snaps them. (Due to the extra weight/speed combo of the tallons) So if you havn't already, you may want to buy some.

  • @MonsterRCdudes Sorry, you may want to invest in some aluminum ones. *Typeo*

  • @MonsterRCdudes yea mine are pretty worn, i might toss on some jato mod ones later on, thanks for the tip :)

  • you was suposed to switch location? XD

  • @jason1786 it started raining at 01:34 -.- hahaa but i will dont worry, thought about a parking lot

  • nice vid dude!

  • @98Ps3lover thankya :D

  • nice vid as usual! i can't wait for my lipos!

  • @TheHuntingTerminator thanks man :D and be careful! going this fast a rustler crash can result in - lost limbs, major 1:1 car damage, and/or broken bones, haha

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx haha. i went to my LHS today and drove my Rusty on their track. it was great. i got some huge air on one jump!

  • I just got my lipos so running vids coming soon dude!

  • @ridermike221 sweet man!

  • like i said you break alot of stuff using a 3cell

  • @daplaneflyer all the parts i broke were what i broke then i had this XL5 :D the only parts i broke when i got 3s was the rear carriers :)

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx o well i guess i am more rough with mine "thats wat she said lol" cause i have broke alot of parts

  • @daplaneflyer nahhh i still break minor parts :) my friend broke my bulkhead and front shock tower with training mode on this truck, ahahah, but i drilled holes and zip tied the bulkhead back and used a bigger screw to hold on the shock tower LOL!

  • is 25/86 ratio good?

  • @mariamad90 ehhh its ok for talons, but still gets hot fast, but not as fast

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx I run 18/86 on Stampede.

  • @ridermike221 damn, id run that but it seems too low for speed runs. but thats all IMO

  • Nice man, 3s is a little crazy huh? LOL you should try a car that uses 6s!

  • @95666 it is, and i cant imagine! LMAO!!!

  • where you live, a two cell is enough. but its always fun using a 3 cell because its so damn fast

  • @MrGrapebook frisco texas, and i know! LOL!!

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx so i take it you never went in snow with it?

  • @MrGrapebook i do alot, their in my other videos, why u assume that? this beast is fully waterproof down to the servo

  • @xXShadowRejectsXx well you lived in texas, i thought you dont get snow. but whatever :D

  • sorry i didnt switch positions, it was starting to rain, as in 01:35 at drop of rain hits the lens, so i didnt want to go far and it end up storming, most of these runs were 3/4th throttle, about 65 mph or less with 25/86 with talons, it runs cooler now, thanks for watching :)
