Labour & Fine Gael seem to have been speaking from both sides of their mouths, claiming they don't support the Bill but then rushing it through the Dáil and voting in favour of it. If the s**t hits the fan in the future, they can then hope to distance themselves from the very thing they voted for, trying to claim 'well it's all FF's fault and we were never in agreement with it'. Why don't FG and Labour stand up for what they truly believe in then?? It seems like political cynicism to me!
They allowed it to go through quickly but voted against it. Nothing wrong with that.
