  • TY!!!

  • Fantastic rendition of the Lone Ranger theme.

  • Ha ha ha ThunderCats. Awesome show. I still preffer the ORIGINAL Lone Ranger TV show.

  • One of the best intro ever! This intro and Thundercats are among the best.

  • I still have the colorforms to this.

  • Ahhhh...childhood memories!

  • @ebenezerhoary Defintely true. Another version came out when the "education" push was on the Saturday Morning Cartoons came out. With this series it was slightly affected. It pushed historical figures and landmarks.

  • Hey guys, I remember watching this cartoon version of The Lone Ranger.

I use to watch it on the ACTS Television Network (which is now The Hallmark Channel).

and hopefully, it will come out on DVD.

  • Anyone know where to find the Filmation version of Lone Ranger?

  • I also remember watching this on CBS, Saturday mornings, in the 1960's. And (as Maxwell Smart might say), loving it! It wasn't until the Eighties that I realized it incorporated some elements of the original WILD, WILD WEST as well.

  • WHY IS THIS NOT ON DVD???!!!

  • @MNRN08 In a way yes--Lone Ranger Collection.

  • Really great variation on the classic Lone Ranger theme music!

  • The Lonesome Stranger --YOO HOO SA-LIVER!

  • beautiful

  • I remember watching that on Saturday mornings back in the sixties.

  • WOW thanks a lot for this, I've been wanting to watch this again since the eighties, this was so dark. to bad that we'll likely never se a release for this...

  • Does anyone have the Lone Ranger cartoon from the 80's? The one that aired with the Tarzan cartoon?

  • It's coming out on DVD soon, along with Filmation's version of Zorro.

  • Wow...holy flashback! Cool memory.

  • Marvin Miller was also the narrator for seasons 2-9 of The FBI.

  • True, 'KCO'. Marvin was THE veteran actor/announcer/narrator on radio, motion pictures and TV; he could also deliver various dialects, as well as portray "Michael Anthony" on "THE MILLONAIRE". He died in 1984....much more should be written about him!

  • Died in 1985, I believe.Excllent guy on UPA's groundbreaking first Gerald McBoing Boing short early 1950s, which also was UPA's first major success after Magoo.

  • Veteran actor/announcer Marvin Miller was the opening narrator (and occasionally provided a voice or two in the episodes)- Vic Schoen created the new arrangement of Rossini's "William Tell Overture" and provided the show's rousing music score.

  • The next year Miller became the voice of the Filmation Aquaman.
