The reason your disc is ruined is because whenever you move the xbox with a disc inside of it the disc gets destroyed and gets a perfect circle around it. That's what happened 2 my black ops while I was setting up my new mic

Whiteboy, the xbox 360 disc drive is not as supportive with the disc as a PS3 or Wii, so therefore any movement, or even with the xbox 360 sitting in the upright condition can give the disc laser burn. I've had it happen to me, and I was told by two different companys (Gamestop) and (Family Video, who saved me $60) that the consol needs to sit just like the PS3 does so it doesn't rattle. And don't ever pick your xbox 360 up with the game is running, because again, its not supported like the PS3.
