you can just use the navigation shortcut for turn by turn directions, you don't have to open navigator and step thru for that.

@evilstar267 It depends on which version of the leak you are using... Apparently if you are using the most recent one you cannot revert back to 1.5. But anyway, why would you want to? Maybe to root, but I would just wait for the 2.1 root.

@lipsyncnetwork The weather effects appear after you unlock your screen and dont touch it for like 10 seconds. You enable it when you set up the HTC weather on the big clock widget. You have to have that clock widget that I use in order to get the live weather.

@CRiMiNALX1 Weeeell, theoretically its supposed to be an OTA, which means we would just let it download and install itself pretty much. The real question is WHEN are we gonna get the update. :-)

@carlosya2099 i had an issue with my eris, so verizon directed me to HTC. i asked them near the end of the call, they said that they originally were supposed to use 2.0 but it isnt stable with the verison of HTC sense on the eris. so they decided on 2.1 and he said by the end of june it will be there as it is in the beta stage.

So I'm not sure if this was asked already, but if you upgrade your Eris with the 2.1 Legend/Desire ROM, does it run Google Navigator? I haven't seen any demonstrations of it o.O

@Betermin I've never seen the Eris running the desire rom, but I guess if you could port the rom then yes, you would be able to run everything native to 2.1, including google navigator.

@Betermin idk what rom i have i have the leaked 2.1 not rooted tho but i can run navigator fine :) its not as good as a garmin cuz the eris gps kinda sux but it does work

@chyeachyea23 ive got my phone on the new update and literally it fucks up on me when i try to make calls, either i cant hear ppl or they cant hear me also my volume decided to go all the way and i cant hear the pings from my messages, it's like all noise leaves my phone. It all started to happen AFTER i got the update(the official one).

the power widget is the widget you called a "communication widget", its the one that allows you to turn off bluetooth, brightness, sync and so on. the widget i was asking about was on the 2nd homepage to the right that had the bars on it thanks

It is actually an audio manager widget that allows you to easily tweak all audio settings and create audio profiles. It's called AudioManager Widget (or Pro version)

how do you get gallery to only show pictures from camera and not random album art on sd?

Just use a file explorer like Astro and when you have a directory (folder) you want to hide, just add a "." if front of it. so example, to hide your pictures folder, just rename it .pictures. Should be :hidden"

@xtqu1ckx There is no live wallpapers. If you a referring to the clouds, you should have those too if you have 2.1. Its part of HTC Sense weather. When you unlock you phone, dont touch the screen and see if it does it by itself.
