There are times when you get hit on the hopper and don't see it. But that was very obvious, player should have called himself out. So fact is this isn't just a bad ref, its a cheating player that should have resulted in a 1 for 1.

1 trick i know to do in events is that when you think you shot someone even though you didnt...you still call a paint check...(this mostly works in the snake or doritos)but when the ref goes over there...give him about 1-2 seconds and if he is still looking, then start shooting the ref...the ref would give up checking and just call the player out to get the fuck out of your lane...it works and the refs cant pull a penilty on you...try it sometime everyone

Speedball doesn't even need refs, they just screw it up because people think they aren't out because the ref didn't tell them because they are too engaged elsewhere. The honesty policy works way better.

I play on a good public field where everyone works on the honesty policy with only 1 ref. I've never seen a single person lie for the about 10 weeks I've been playing there. It's not the sport that require refs, it's the players; this is playing with Reballs btw, so it's even easier to cheat.

What i think the guy was yelling at on the other team. Go back and watch the video. When the second guy runs up to the X you can see a spray of paint come off him. Hinting him getting pulled. The other guy has rub, thats not an impact hit at all.

And just to cler it up.

A ref has to obligation to check someone because you tell them to. They can stand there and stare at you if they want. Theres a difference between psp reffing, and gfoa players reffing.

Its GFOA. Not PSP, a ref does not have to check any player for someone else bitching at them. A "vision test", Theres a huge difference in bunker rub and an actual impact hit. That was bunker rub, Good one chief!

They should not claim to have what they don't. It's a refs responsibility to watch players and go check them whenever there is doubt. The refs that should have seen the paint on the players hopper either didn't or ignored it. The full clip isn't up, but the way that player played that game, there was no chance for bunker rub on that side of his hopper, he isn't even playing tight.
