"Learn how to shoot people better". What the fuck? Yeah 2 joysticks and a curser is how my gun works, fuckin douchebag. Besides everyone in this video are all saying "I believe" its their personal opinion. There are lots of studies that say there is an effect and there are lots that say there isn't. Fact is there is no definate proof of anything and how is it anyone elses fault for stores selling to under age children, I don't hear anyone getting on the store's cases for this.
"videogames have a negative impact on the physiological , academic and social development"
and i thought that it was personal issues , problems in life even the personality of a person that could influanciate those aspects , ignorance goes a long way.
I think what makes kids more "violent" at the end of the school year is that they get used to the school. They meet new friends, talk alot more. Some teachers can be very annoying and unreasonable too.
i've played violent games and watched violent movies, as long as i can remember. my attitude comes not from media, but due to my personal problems. if assholes like schwarzenegger and those who think like him, they can kiss my ass. games and movie dont kill ppl, ppl kill ppl.
There was a video game show called "Starcade" in the 1980s (It was shown on G4 for a spell.) in which most networks and stations did not pick up because many owners because they perceived that video games were too violent and did not want to represent that image.
Note that I'm talking about early 80s arcade games like Pac-man and Pole Position.
youre right the last week my aunt sayed to me to let my cousin of 6 yers old play mortal kombat and i told her that he cant play it cuz its too blody and she doesnt care about it that demostrates that tha parents are irreponsible about what their kids watch
Great job on the video. I've never seen any video about video game violence be this unbiased and well put together. Better than anything in professional media. Be proud of this.
Decent job on the video. Frightening to ponder that a lot of people share the same view as that one lady who said she didn't see the point in violent video games, that you become skilled in shooting people? Wow, I didn't know jumping on mushrooms and turtles, collecting gold coins, warping through metallic pipes would be a "skill" in the real world I would need. We play games to *escape* from reality. Video games are not just for kids. Human ignorance is amazing.
