I had a 92 Samurai that I purchased new for less than 7 grand. It wasnt a 4WD but that little vehicle had 126 thousand miles when I sold it..and,outside of oil change etc.,the only thing that ever needed repair was an alternator. I never even needed brakes..can U believe that 126,000 and the brakes were still good?! I sold it a few years back but it is still running..original engine has over 250,000 miles and is driven everyday! You cannot beat a Suzuki for the price.

Did you buy it with welded diffs? I would have saved a little bit and got a spool (not everyone can afford the ARB airlockers). What lift are you running for 33s? SPOA with maybe a little bit of body lift? I hate seeing 3 inch body lifts and being able to see frame rails through the fender wells.
I bought it with the welded diffs. but i really wanna do a yota axle swap, but im worried about it sticking out too far and I wanna keep it street legal and run like a 36".
Its just a 3" soa, but it sags ass a bit.

I have a CJ-5 and love it! That being said, I've gone on trail rides with Suki's and I've kept up with them and they've kept up with me. Personal prefrence. NO need to slam Jeep or Suki owners. A love for 4X4's is all you need!
suzuki's are great little offroad rigs, they have the advantage of an extremely short wheelbase and lightweight, but you cannot beat the sound of a board out V8 in a CJ :P. i would get a sami if i did not already have my cherokee that will go anywhere.

A suzuki may not be is "good" as a jeep in all respects but likewise a jeep may not be as good as a suzuki in all respects. They have both earned their places in the off roading world. I simply would rather go wheeling then bench racing. you wanna tell me your jeep is better? I'll tell you to follow me. I would gladly follow u to prove my point. would I make it? who knows.. but isn't that what its all about?

Looks to me like the Jeep slowed down. If you jump a big block Wrangler, it's gonna nose right down into the dirt. Too much weight at the front.
Which is why the zuk won =D

I just got a zuk. and after wheelin it I will never go back to a jeep. it is freakin unstoppable on just 33's with welded diffs.
ive had many jeeps though and i still love them :)

Did you buy it with welded diffs? I would have saved a little bit and got a spool (not everyone can afford the ARB airlockers). What lift are you running for 33s? SPOA with maybe a little bit of body lift? I hate seeing 3 inch body lifts and being able to see frame rails through the fender wells.

I bought it with the welded diffs. but i really wanna do a yota axle swap, but im worried about it sticking out too far and I wanna keep it street legal and run like a 36".
Its just a 3" soa, but it sags ass a bit.
Ill get more vids up of it once I fix the brakes and get a drop pitman arm

I have a CJ-5 and love it! That being said, I've gone on trail rides with Suki's and I've kept up with them and they've kept up with me. Personal prefrence. NO need to slam Jeep or Suki owners. A love for 4X4's is all you need!

suzuki's are great little offroad rigs, they have the advantage of an extremely short wheelbase and lightweight, but you cannot beat the sound of a board out V8 in a CJ :P. i would get a sami if i did not already have my cherokee that will go anywhere.

for one why do we want to jump dunes? when we have comp safari and stuff like that,
as for land rovers rubbish at trialling why is it so many people enter them in "challenge" events and (occasionally) beat suzuki's and land rovers are a good trial vehicle in the right hands,
obviously if you think land rovers are rubbish then you have never seen a good driver but personally suzuki's get anywhere and a better (and bouncier!)

Now this is the truth. blow an engine $100 trans $100 t-case $50 axles $50 front or rear. hell i just gave $500for a samurai that i will put about $1000 in and turn around and sell it for $3500 easy. Then again living in south georgia they are like flies in the fields and easy to find about anything. So yes jeep owners spend all your money and I will not spend mine.

Did same, bought one for $ 500. Did some work on it and sold it for $ 2500. If you buy a Jeep wrangler or something you already pay $ 5000. Get fixed the whole damn crap for another $ 5000 and thesell it for $ 3500. Samurai's rock!

Im a Suzuki guy also, but why diss Jeep, an excelant off roader, the first and best! I'd rather diss a maker that earned it like Europian maker "Land Rover" or as I call it, Land fagit..the swing arm twister. Humvee? Are you mentally retarded? They are possibly the worst off-roader ever concieved. People 'diss' Land Rover for making heavy, slow and inefficient vehicles, but when compared to hummers they're featherweight. Articulation on a hummer is abysmal and they get stuck at the first sign of uneven ground. But what do I know, a man of your superior vocabulary clearly knows what he's talking about.

Now, I'm a HUGE fan of Samurais and own two myself, but even I know it's a pretty monstrous stretch to say that Jeeps aren't for off-roading. I personally prefer the Samurai, but I know some Jeeps that can destroy the trails.
