The producers of this game made some pretty big balance changes. Why they did this I have no idea, except maybe they did it just to mess up strategy guides like this one. Note that I didn't play it as it was before so maybe I'm wrong, h9owever from what I've seen on youtube and elsewhere it was fine before.
what you want to do is do everything the same, but as soon as you got 13 gems get the fire tower and replace 3 cannons with fire towers, upgrade the fire towers asap, then you want to place a anti air gun and upgrade it asap too....
just a note for people doing this level with this guide, its a fat chance youll do it with this strategy coz he just got lucky on this vid, ive tried his way loasd of times, exact same towers in exact same place, tried with same rankings = failed, tried with higher ranking = failed, wont work this strategy...
Hmm. Girlfriend and I have tried this a few times on Coop. With two people we upgraded everything higher than what you have it. However, there always seems to be one little guy that gets through. We got through it the first time fine, but forgot to lay the mine for the last set of rock guys.
Hey how come I can't find this game on the Playstation Network? I only see Pixel Junk Monsters, for 9.99 but I also want to buy this expansion along with it. Can someone please help.
We rainbowed this one without the mines. Like you, we based our initial setup on Aramir200's strategy. The difference to your video was we also built fire towers towards the end of the level, which here could have been at wave #16 when you had 13 gems.
guess you never got my message on this. Well, guess ill just let this 18 minute video sit here... and i didnt need any mines as at all. The boss was the only wave i was worried about, but i got him :P
Best guide ever. Doing this on 2 player Hard-core works. Confirmed.

upgrade towers to max asap, and imo my way works better than this way, no ofence to the uploader

I rainbowed this using only cannon, arrow and tesla towers. No need for mines, and you can even add some interest along the way :)
