  • Is there a way to get particles to stick at a 90 degree angle?

  • Ladysilverbeam: I would use hardbody dynamics to do that instead of normal particles unless they were pretty close to spherical. The reason why is that collision detection for particles is pretty much spherical.

  • @auroratdunn this is a great tutorial.. i would like to see more, if your not too busy.. thanks

  • haha.. I got it for 50$ cause of school.... :D

How do you get objects to pile up like this snow?

  • The Videoo Wont Startt ?

  • same parameters but does not pile, the particle resistance parameter you used seem ti limit the fall, but your tut does not function. newtek confirm fluid do not function yet

  • ive got a question... i havent got this software but on its website it says u can download it.. so tell me.. Did u download this and is it free and virus free? IM DESPERATE!!!! PLEASE!!! HELP!!!

  • You can download a trial version which is *virus* free, but not economically free.

  • Nice tutorial. Fine tuning particle dynamics in Lightwave is a bit mystic, so this really helps.

  • MY GOD! THANK YOU!

I have been trying to do this forever in LW, and never manage to do it right

  • Wow man, you're very well spoken! Sounds like you wrote the code for the program. 5 stars! This is waaaay too complicated for me right now. This is my second day learning about 3d modeling. I'll come back to you in about 3-4 months. I hope Youtube remains to be a free website. I've heard rumors it might start charging a fee for users. Hope not.

  • is lightwave free

  • No, and it actually costs a fair amount of money

  • ya i had to pay $101 and that was a great deal btw

  • whoa, that is actually a very extraordinary deal. Programs like these usually cost up to 900, 100 or even 2000+ $

  • ya my 3d teach had connections :P

  • is this possible to do in 3ds max?

  • Rendering speed is all relative to what you are working with. As in all things CG there are trick to cheat many endeavors but they have to be regulated by what the end results have to be.

  • I'm so lost. What would be a good class to take to learn about CGI and 3D modeling use? Thanks

  • that's good ! I wonder if there is a way to make randering in Lightwave much faster

can you help me please ?

  • That was an outstanding demo. Your voice is great, I cant stand the slow ums and ahs of most demos. Really awesome pacing. Post more!!!

  • that's good but the quality of the video is not good :( ! can I find another good quality video ?

  • Yes, very soon I'l have a bunch of training vid's with much better resolution. I'll make sure I come back and post a link to were they will be found.

  • @auroratdunn ey... this was 2 years ago... :]

  • excellent,this will append

    wspaniałe, przyda się
