But they do have english accents. And yes they would vary by region. A New York accent is extremely different than that of an accent from say Tenessee. My mother was from Newcastle on Tyne. Her accent was entirely different from a London accent.

jrm is perfect and his acting skills are unquestionable . he is gorgeous and passinate in this role. he is very real. i love him and his adaptation of henry is brilliant.

First off this is not a movie it is a series and they do have the English accents, there is not just one English default accent, they range with the region.

well the series are containing also the time when he drop lady Katherine to marry Anne. At that time he wasnt so young. And the age difference between queen Katherine and him wasnt so big as this movie show it. And my comments arent retarded. Maybe you are. Kthxbye.

As previously stated the weight gain begun after reopening an old injury in his leg in jousting and thus begun a series of closing and reopening the wound on his leg for the rest of his life. True that Catharine was only 6 years older than Henry you have to remember she went through many, many pregnancies though only one bore a daughter that lived past infancy. Childbearing took a toll on her health physically, emotionally and mentally and aged her dramatically.

And I also remind you that this is a series, it takes many historical licenses and contains many historical inaccuracies, it is meant to be entertaining not a history documentary though they do surprisingly well with the layout of history though a few things had to be changed such as JRM playing Henry but who could really do a better job as Henry than JRM, even if he does not look like him he contains more intensity and brings more to the character than anyone could.

Henry wa fat in his later years. As a young man he was extremely strong, physically fit and handsome. This guys adaptation is excellent. Really brings Henry VIII to life so we can see what he would be like.

Is a series, not a movie and the accents are all good even if the actors are from England, Ireland, NZ etc. It's entertainment FFS and with the exception of Pride and Predujice, it would be a bore to use the actual language of the time exactly.
