Kayla and Jeanine are two of my favorite dancers, but WHY can Jeanine not do a normal grand jete leap?? this has always bothered me! her front leg is always much lower than her back leg.

@stepitup25 thats the type of leap she is doing. There are many types. she even flicks her head back which is how it should be.

Kayla e Jeanine estão ótimas, mas exitem nuances que por ter bases clássica e contemporânea, a |Jeaniene consegue superar a Kayla,pois tem movimentos onde só são trabalhados no contemporâneos e isso só a Jeanine tem, a Kayla nesses momentos torna-se muito lânguida. Precisava contenção em alguns movimentos e ela entregava logo...esqueci a palavra...tenho problema de memória. Tem um nome específico. Fui bailarina moderna e fazia aula específica do que estou mencionando.

I think they are both amazing! Jeanine is more in the rythm sometimes, but I like the emotions in Kayla, too:-)

first of all, THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! i have been looking for this forever but its never in good quality! this is amazing! and secondly, i have to say jeanine is better, in my opinion. just like some people have said, she's more effortless, and it doesnt look like she has to work like kayla to be as good/better. her rhythm is AMAZING (always on time, never before or after), and my eyes were drawn to her even though she was more to the back of the stage than kayla. ps her firebird is amazing!

This was a good performance for Kayla..but the problem for me is that Kayla dances as if she is trying soo hard and for Jeanine it all seems very natural.

@kmm144 kaylas grand jete is so awkward. she leans into it with her head. jeanines is cleaner and crisper. just like all of her other movements. kayla isnt always clean.
