Grace Moore also did a film with the great Georges Thill of this opera - Abel Gance directed and Charpentier was involved with the production, I think in 1935 or 1936. How she inhabited this role! thank you for this wonderful experience.

Yes - It was on the other side of her "Si. Mi Chiamano Mimi" 78. There is also a full recording of the opera with her which was a Met broadcast.

Whoops I mistakingly thought this was from the 1943 Met broadcast. I hope her rendition in that one is just as good because I now own the whole recording!
