  • I have been desperately trying to process how reading a Bible in public is a punishable offense, but disrupting a private funeral with loud heckling and abusive language is "free speech". HELP!!

  • @taratorah I can't explain it. I wish I could, but I can't. I guess it's because they get a permit to speak in front of a private funeral to protest. BTW, I didn't know reading the Bible was protesting. - The spokesperson said they needed a permit to protest.

  • @Carrie3570

    Wow...it's not just WORDS we're re-defining anymore -- it's EVERYTHING! Gah. I see doom. :P

  • i hope walmart brings back guns in my town

  • I love my PETS!

  • They always do that in stories in DC. Never mention the race. Another sign of political correctness gone wild. Ridiculous.

  • No I'll go look at it. Here is unbelievable proof that our Kenyan Import's birth certificate is more phony than Global Warming. /watch%3Fv%3D3g30VCl_cgk

  • Why wouldn't I? He's proven that Affirmative Action doesn't work!!!

  • @PatriotInChief Did you just watch gfreakj 's video? lol - this is a big discussion today. I had already said the same thing in a comment on someone elses video.

  • ANIMAL RIGHTS?! ok now animal abuse ya that shouldnt happen but this?!?!?! this is utter BS! to think that animals have rights like this when they DO NOT understand is Ludicris at its best!

  • Well, I have to say, I respect Obama tremendously

  • @PatriotInChief Who are you and what did you do with Jackson?

  • @Msakaalbany I hunt for "Made in USA" only. There is a great site, which lists other sites, which feature Made in USA products. The costs are higher and shipping does add to this; however, it is worth it to me to support US brands and people. I go without before I buy foreign and to be very candid, American made products are 100 times better than the junk coming from overseas. The quality on textiles is especially higher, as are tools, fasteners, etc... Buy American!

  • Political correctness has destroyed this nation almost as much as Comrade Soetoro has destroyed it.

  • @PatriotInChief I think political correctness is one of the reasons why we have Comrade Soetoro.

  • @Carrie3570 Exactly Right, Carrie. 50% for PC reasons, 50% were looking forward to a lifetime of uninterrupted Welfare and entitlement programs, assuring them that they will never have to get off their front porches, where sit they watch all the rest of us go to work and bust our butts to keep them in cool sneakers and beer. Says a hell of a lot about the man in charge.

  • Walmart, UGG! Our last Gov (NY) while our state was bankrupt, W/O questioning claims,or follow up re the money's usage, wrote checks to every Welfare mother $250 PER child they listed for SCHOOL SUPPLIES. The 'childs' age did not matter, the 'children' did not have to live at home, OR be in any school! 10 kids listed? 10 checks given! (I know, UNBELIEVEABLE!). The day the cks were issued Walmart planned a giant sale on Big Screen TV's & was prould to tell us the line was around the building.

  • Trying to control the words people can use to communicate is a form of thought control! Unfortunately stuff like this is rampant in this country and it must be resisted by freedom loving people.

  • i boycotted Wall Mart years ago, we all should.

  • @Msakaalbany They sure do drive local business away. I know right now the local grocery store is having a tough time. I think cities are to blame for that though. We have 2 in our small area plus they built a Sams. Yes, it brings some jobs, but it also closes local businesses where people work. I think cities should take more responsibility for businesses failing when they permit big chains to come in and build and build. Do we really need more than one WalMart in small to medium cities?

  • I haven't stepped into a walmart in 6 years.

  • @thalonelygirl You know I'm really kinda surprised at how many people don't shop at WalMart anymore.

  • I always need a xanax after i shop at Chinamart!!

  • @Lookinformemarbles I bet! You know, I hear acouch2 buys hops and wheat at Chinamart, maybe that's an option when your out of xanax. lol

  • @Carrie3570 Yea the thing with walmart is they have the lowest prices on stuff food being the best so it is like the have a monopoly going on i swear! Our food store prices are crazy!

  • you cannot purchase a companion, you purchase property. Animals are property dont care what these "academics" say.

  • I try not to buy anything at Wal Mart. I only shop there only 5% of the time because ammo a very good price especaily their shotgun sells. My beff with Wal Mart is they have fired some women I know because she was pregnat. Also they fired three employees because they stop a robber who was about to kill them anyways and they get fired for saving their own life. Bulkammo.com is a good place to buy ammo on line.

  • I call my pets the little Gods that own my home and heart. I make the children bow down to the little beasts and kiss their little paws. hehe

  • @ArizonaSean Don't we all? I'm sure you meant animal companions, not pets. mwahahaha!!

  • I guess they saw something and said something. Why did they get rid of guns in some of their stores? A liberal agenda maybe. Now, when they want more money they are bringing guns back.

Who in their right mind would bu a gun from the DHS Walmarts?

  • @ArizonaSean lol... I guess they did. I explained about that in a comment to TheBeeperman, and yes it was due to liberalism or progressiveness or whatever you wanna call it. Michael Moore was involved.

  • Loved the story about not calling animals pets. Can you imagine people actually having the time to sit around and think up stuff like that. One thing the left does that actually works is comic relief.

  • @curlybobz Very true. I know I would have never thought of something like that. I guess plant life is next. We won't be able to call people nuts or bananas because they might be offended! lol

  • Yea as far as veggies go, i goto the farmers market every friday.. fruit. well my back yard has tons of plums, oranges and grapefruits. lol. Meat is either from me turkey hunting, or i have a friend who has a ranch up in romona and i buy 2 cows a year and freeze the meat....and once a week i let the kids pick a place to go out for dinner. i only goto wal mart for toys, clothes and my hops and wheat ~wink wink~. lol.

  • I just noticed I don't shop at Wal mart much anymore myself.

  • i just hate the general feel there. i like more local stores like HEB and Albertsons. They are less dehumanized.

  • @a10fjet I'm right with ya.

  • If they are going to sell ammo and guns to bolster sales now, why the hell did they ever stop? Their stockholders are probably scratching their heads. I wonder if my pet rock would be insulted if I called it a bric-a-brack. Instead of arresting the bible guy, why did they not just ask him to leave? Sounds really heavy handed.

  • @TheBeeperman A couple reasons they stopped (1) After hurricane Katrina - the best short explanation is, "because of the chaos". (2) Michael Moore threw a tantrum, WalMart agreed to meet & they decided to take guns out of a certain amount of stores. ~ I suppose now that those have died down, they feel they can out guns back into some stores?

Your "pet rock"? I'm sure you mean your "companion rock". I agree, the cop should have told the guy what law he was breaking & then ask him to leave.

  • i must be a horrible person, lol, i still shop at wal-mart. probally because there are 4 with in 5 miles of my home. lol. the one thing that gets me, i heard so much of mr. janet napoletono on the screen and his lil message..i never seen it. lol. but i do understand why you and others do not shop there, same principles as why i do not go into target. i get my flags at the NEX. 9.99. lol. Hope the weather hasnt effected ya too badly. Take Care!!!

  • @acouch2 You aren't a horrible person. When I lived in SoCal I really didn't have a choice. Super WalMart was it. Alpha Beta, Lucky, Stater Bros., had all went out of business as well as Ace & local nurseries. Here, I have choices where I can go. We know the names of the owners at the local stores & choose to go to those as much as possible. It's just a choice. When I read the article, the CEO didn't even seem to take other choices WalMart made as a possibility why the sales have slowed.

  • Walmart SUCKS!!

    ★★★★★

  • @MadBadVoodo Right on! Walmart SUCKS!!

  • @MadBadVoodo lol

  • Walmart. I seldom go, but when I do I enter the garden entrance and pay there upon leaving. I look suspicious because of the way I dress. I wear boonie hats, boots and carry a knife on my belt. I get a lot of looks, but I am not going to go home and put on a suit and tie to go to Walmart and I don't dress in baggie pants hanging down to my knees, ball cap turned side ways and spit on the floor. I do not take my wife in at all... it is too dangerous in my opinion. I buy shotgun shells.

  • @PreacherPrepper I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees WalMart as dangerous.

  • you tell those stupid fuckers that I just asked my dog Tank about this pet thing and he really doesn't care. I haven't ask my bulls yet

  • @nutsarefancy I asked my dog too and he asked me to please file a formal complaint. I explained that I didn't have time so he just went outside and vomited and licked it up. I think it made him feel better.

  • @PreacherPrepper

    AWAAAGGG! EEEWWW!!! Gross me out!

    Guess that's why I don't have a dog. LOL!

  • @nutsarefancy Next time I'm at Oxford or Penn State, I'll be sure to get them your message! lol... I asked my dog about his feelings on this situation as well. Funny thing is, all he did was stare at the box of treats on the shelf. "I want treats, I want treats" was his response. He could care less what I called him.

  • @Carrie3570 lol

  • Maybe, just maybe, people are realizing that they are buying crap they don't need after all. Thanks for meltdown sis. Peace out.

  • @usergently Maybe they are, that is a nice thought. So many people think they need things when in reality they want it or it's simply habit to buy crap because they have money in their pocket.

  • It's funny how most people think the recovery is happening and back to spend spend spend. With credit mindyou. Yet they see Gas going up, food going up, and all bills going up. They don't learn. It's an addiction. I paid almost 4 bucks for one tomato and almost 10 bucks for a block of cheese. As for walmart the only thing I buy there is deoderant and tootpaste. I use local mom and pop whenever I can.

  • @PYSCOPOMP I agree with that. We don't use credit cards and we have taught and are teaching our children not to use credit cards. Debt is a killer, not only on your finances but mentally and in relationships. If you want or need something you need to get out there and work for it, not charge it.

We also use mom & pop stores as much as we can. We were just talking about our local market, it's not looking good for them.
