@theuszinhooo You're comparing Black Sabbath with Slipkot and System ? Undersand that Black Sabbath invented heavy metal, it kicks that neo metal bands' asses.
not being a dick here also, just saying i have been around for a long while and i am a guitar player, started lessons at 6 year's old (1964) and still play
cant be touched rjd and sabbath was pure genious i like it better than ozzy di owas my favorite singet my friend timmy owens is with dios disciples if you get a chance check them out they are touring usa now !
seriously I dono what it is with the classic heaven and hell line up but all I can say is that Dio Iommi Butler and Appice just warm the fuckin chambers of my heart puts butterflies in my throat and whirls my fuckin brain until I tear and seriously melt man. the lyrics and everything WOW just wow! if there is anything I take seriously in life its fuckin this
This is one of my favourite heavy metal albums, this was a christmas present to me from my parents when I was 13 years old. Just like a vintage antique, it gets better with age.
Black Sabbath's - Mob Rules is the greatest Sabbath album. Vinnie Appice puts on a drum clinic for fill-ins, the bass is tight and the vocals - impeccable. The rhythim and leads (as always) by Toni Iommi are especially great on this album. I'd say this was the fore father to grunge and a classic Heavy Metal album. I love OZZY for the live shows, but this is the one true pure - Black Sabbath at their best.
if you have the vinyl, go to the last verse where Ronnie sorta growls and play this backwards.....you wont believe what you hear (at 3:33 in the song)
As with most Black Sabbath songs, we need to listen to the total cooperation between the bass and the drums too. The bass riffs and comps in this song are tight with the drum comps and fills. It is this tightness that allows Toni to do what he does best. Riff, solo, improvise, and make our ears bleed... Danke!
Epic album! 1 song flows into the next for a dark and deliciously dreary mood throughout! don't need drugs when there is this!
