Sorry I don't know where the seat came from as the tractor wasn't mine, I just went and filmed the owners collection one day so there was a record of it.
He used to be an agricultural contractor in Scotland. When he retired he came to live in Jersey where he started to convert these tractors to pass his time.
He told us he had gone at over 40mph with it which is the speed limit in Jersey and that he had beaten cars off the traffic lights on Victoria Avenue, Jerseys only bit of dual carriageway!!!
fantastic !

To me, the stonemasonry in the background is at least as impressive as the tractor.

Cleverly done.
Was it ever put on a Dyno?

Do you know where these Tractors from Mr Purvis are today ? Do they still exist ?
TrekZero 2 years ago
As far as I know they are all still here in Jersey, this one with the jag engine was on our spring tractor run.

WOW what a great project. That's really cool. And Mr Purvis make a perfect job it looks like is was original. He was a genius mechanic.
What was his job ? My father has a MF 35 too and is a tractor mechanic . He was very impressed about this work.
