@mavmach3 , Its all worked into the price of the car, and the transportation is handled through BMW, and delivered to any dealership in the US you want. Doing ED is actually cheaper if you negotiate correctly :)
@bbleus Can you please give me some tips on how to negotiate a good deal? I'm not loaded and while I love my 3rd generation 320i, I would really like to buy a new 335i convertible.
@mavmach3 , For me, I did some research online, as well as worked with a dealer in the US that is familiar with European Delivery. I was able to get a pricing sheet that showed MSRP, US Invoice Price, Euro Delivery MSRP, and Euro Delivery Invoice price. The Euro Delivery Invoice pricing was the cheapest of the 4, and I used that during my negotiation to come as close to that price as I could, thus getting the best deal. Plus I used airline points and hotel points for my trip.
Congrats man!!! I just have one question, are you supposed to go that fast with it right after getting a new one. I though you have to keep it under 70 miles an hour for the first 1000 miles...
@Baltahfeek, you're not "supposed" to drive that fast during the break-in period, but no one ever really listens to that. Especially when you're on the autobahn with no speed limit. You've GOT to drive fast.....
How did you get the car stateside? And how much did you pay for it?
