@tburns7v Call me what ever you want, what I wrote is correct. The pilot was rated and he was hired to perform this ride, it was supposed to be a gift to a 100 year old man. It happened in Sweden some years ago ( I think it was 2005) in a town called Sala. The pilot did a very bad job, no doubt about that, but my initial comment was about someone saying he was glad it crashed, I just wanted to point out the outcome.. So tburns7v, do some research and you will find out the truth..

The first one looked like Tail Rotor Failed. The Second Guy was Pilot Error. He let the Machine Fly Him into a place He just couldn't get out of. That's a Failure on the Part of the Pilot / Instructor. It's like Rule Number One. Fly The Machine First. Stay in Control. Don't allow Yourself to Become Distracted. The Second Guy ended up with a Rotor Strike. I was wondering why didn't happen sooner? It's a Helicopter, Not a Big Weed Whacker, or in this case Tree Whacker! Those Rotors are Fragile!
