  • I love this song they played this song at my grandmas funeral.

  • I listen to heavy metal, Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, ect...that being said I love this song. This was my grandparent's song. Last February my grandmother died and this was played at her funeral, and after a 63 yr marriage I watched my grandfather cry for the very first time. When we all went outside there was a white dove on the hearse. I'll never forget carrying my grandmother to the dove and thinking of this song. God bless her and may she rest in heaven. I love you Grandma

  • @RatifiedCow BLESS YOU TOO!!They are not gone just aways off!!

  • How encouraging to read this story! we had a similar bird experience when a fantail remained in the church prior to the service of an elderly friend who loved birds. It sat in the rafters (nobody could catch it or chase it out) and on the verse in 'How Great Thou Art' where it speaks of the birds singing in the trees - this bird burst forth into song. after the funeral it left of its own accord. God's messengers for sure!
