If you listen, he refers to East Kilbride. This is near Glasgow, Scotland. I used to work with a guy from East K; top bloke. Every other word was an F!
I beg your pardon! I don't know what you say "crack?" I'm not a crack, this bus should stop now. Why don’t they any idea companies for council of the lorry put a special salt on the road? Is will became mild down and dry away, it will be safe they journey anywhere of local. The bus will try push engine toward and backward, might cause burst engine or broken down later-on. That will see what happen now. That all what I am saying...
when you are drive in the weathers like these you need low gear as possable and give it all the gas you can. if this no work you could melt all the snow around the tire so the whells they will grip again ;-)
@marshalllucky protip: when you slide on snow and ice, you're actually aquaplaning on a microscopic layer of meltwater that forms between the tyre (or your shoes) and the hard surface below. so spinning your wheels rarely helps, unless you do it so hard and for so long you scuff all the ice away and squeegee most of the resultant water off the tarmac.
i've seen it work, slowly, for a high powered car on thin ice before, but in most other situations it's a no-go.

Busdriver should be terminus the ride. Owing due safety by local transport, because of icing on the road. This is supposed riding by bus, how they people save alives cause might be accident or hitting anything for local transports. Should stop the bus and cancelled to ride for call other special route or take special minibus to riding them do. Now this, what did supposed busdriver where they going on out there!!!

I think buses and lorries should have dispensers (sanders) similar to trains which would help the vehicle grip the road better when moving off.

That is a First bus..... That could be anywhere across England or Scotland. By the accents of the people talking, I would say somewhere in Scotland.
