Obama Clears Way for Expanded Offshore Oil Drilling

Skeptical about this. If Obama emphasizes a green economy so much, why doesn't he require the same type of pumping policy that he expects of our deficit reduction initiative? Why don't we require the equivalent of one barrel of oil reduction through conservation for every new barrel we pumped? If that continued for a while, we wouldn't need any new exploration, and the renewables could further bridge the gap between the two sources.

This is political gamesmanship. Obama (what a backdrip, hu?)...is setting up the Rupublicans like a bowling pin to trap them into "cap and trade" legislation and other "eco" type legislation.

Smart man...dangerous man. You are a witness to the USA being dismantled by a man who believes the government can do all things better than its citizens.
