It seems like every decent tune the ex-Beatles made in 70-71 was a left-over from the White Album/Let It Be sessions.

2 years before they did. Both these albums were the
death throws of the Beatles. John called the White
Album "the least Beatle-like" of all the albums. A collection
of "throw aways". Had the Beatles opened their career
with the White Album or Let It Be, we would never have
heard of the Beatles.

@thegame3623 Yes, John Lennon recorded his own version and released it on the "Imagine" album in September 1971 (USA) and October 1971 (UK).
