They didn't really apear on American Idol live.. The preformance was prerecorded and they simulated the audience.

No you say? Note:

-The audience doesn't cheer at all during the song

-The crowd around the stage stays perfectly still and does not move during the whole song

-Billie doesn't smile until nearly five seconds after the audience starts clapping at the end

When Ryan announced them I was like "WHAT?!" haha cause I didnt know they were going to perform. I think it was my favorite part from last night. And his little smile at the end made me giggle. :) I'm glad they credited Lennon at the end though. Very cool.
