I wonder if a bike made out of aluminum, for example, maybe be faster than one of carbon fiber, because an aluminum one may have more momentum, and the carbon fiber one will have a terminal velocity of a lower speed. In that case you won't start fast at the start of the biking portion of a triathlon, but it's such a long event it won't really matter.

@yotapact the terminal velocity of a carbon bike is faster than the human body can take it.
