How ironic nowadays! Maybe if they didn't give out so many mortgages like they're boasting in this ad we might not be in such an economic...mess now. I have to say though I too love the memories which this advert evokes from watching a copy of Mary Poppins recorded off the telly with this advert on it!! Nostalgia! Aaaaah!!!
Yep. Very ironic, now it's us lending them money. Nice tune though, kind of leave a bitter taste in the mouth though. HBOS and Lloyds TSB down the pan for lending to trailer trash.
