Leaf fans like myself have been waiting long enough for a GM to pull in a player like kessel. Who knows, hall or seguin could be a bust or turn out to be one of the leagues greatest players lol. But that is if the leafs end up 2nd last or dead last in the league. Hopefully they can pull within 3rd and not give the bruins a top 2 pick.

@ian8206 WRONG at his age the off season is where you add muscle mass and develop into MAN. Missing training camp is a major setback. Look at the difference in stamkos after a good offseason. Garry Roberts moulded him into an athlete and look at him now.

Although you do get some conditioning in exhibition the biggest thing is to get the players in the groove. So yes it would delay him in the regular season, not for that long.
