  • I just hammered it with a chisel and it loosened, Thankyou for this its working now!!

  • mine wont turn, its stuck!!!

  • Thanks so much for taking the time to post this video. Our baxi is the same model, when the pressure fell the instruction manual didn't have any diagrams so seeing this video told me exactly where to find them and fix the pressure.

  • Appreciate the video. Our Baxi went down this morning and i really have not got a clue as to what to do.Tried looking in the manual but was just giving me instructions as to what to do.Did not know what this loop looked like.Within minutes of watching the video the boiler is up and running and the heating and water are back on.Thanks a lot.

  • thats so bad because them valves don't look like most valves used...bad example...

most filling loops are on a braided hose & look nothing like what he showed.

also warning pressure should not exceed 3 bar or your boiler will dump excess pressure out of a valve that doesnt always re seal itself.

    (3 bar valve)

some boilers have low back pressure when old (vaillant especially) so they expand when used so even 1 bar can cause over expansion problems.

ppl must know its not related to shower pressure

  • Loving the fact that this is helping folks out, especially during this cold weather. : )

  • thank you thank you - i was freezin til this.. works on baxi combo duo tec as well!

  • love it!!! thanks :D

  • Thanks for doing this Video as the team that fitted mine did not leave the manual & on Baxi site their filling loop is different so this was a great help & got my boiler back up & running in 2 mins !!!

  • Many thanks for posting helped enormously!

  • @alan3col You are welcome. Glad it helped! : )

  • Fantastic, helped no end, many thanks for posting!

  • my advice:

call in an engineer and hopefully if theyre as nice as me they won't you charge you alot if its a simple fix

  • shouldnt be showing this, now what do we charge people for?! :)

in all seriousness that filling loop should be isolated and the home owner/tenant should not be carrying out what appears to be such a simple task!!! there are dangers in doing this if there is another reason the pressure has dropped, also doing this when there is a problem can damage the boiler even further upping your repair bill!

  • You're welcome. We have watched it a couple of times when we've needed to remember how to adjust the pressure.

  • cheers, going upstairs to do this now.
