  • Can't believe those idiots are just sitting there in their seats.

  • No pop B.S. when Boz plays live. Tight and kickin'.

  • What a lame crowd . Great Tune

  • Drew Zingg on the guitar. A real master of tone.

  • @Troubleboys.... Thanks for the upload! Fantastic song and as usual an excellent performance. I saw him in concert last Fall in Tulsa, Oklahoma it was quite an experience! He is even more awesome in person! Boz Scaggs is simply the best at EVERY THING!!!!! " I'll never let you down", Mr. Scaggs truer words were never spoken!

  • Great song and what a great performance...i DLed the album of this show a couple of weeks ago and haven't stopped playing it since...live music at its very best.

  • Take a look gen Y's, real musicians!

  • The backup singers are great. These ladies should consider doing an album.

  • wow! Boz rules!

  • I'm 51,and I still move like a 21 year old to fantastic kind of music!!!!!!!

  • WOOOOO HOOOOO.... LOVE LOVE!!!!! Saw him twice this year.... Salem, VA and Baltimore with Michael McDonald.... LOVE this man!!

  • just sittin here with new friends listening to jeffs favorite song and this was it and i really enjoyedit. cool song!!!

  • This song reminds me of a particular guy, when i was a teenager. Son of a B, never even noticed me!!!! Still love the song though!!!

  • 9 people were born with taste only in their mouths....Boz is da BOMB!!!!

  • Boz may occasionally sound like Kermit and in this clip he looks disturbingly like Tony Blair - but God this is magnificent! Tightest life performance I've ever witnessed.

  • Everything is perfect -- the great Boz's vocals, the instrumentals, the backup singers. Perfecto.

  • Man, that crowd is damn near riotous!!! It's distracting from the stage performance. (She said, sarcastically...)

  • I love it,great sound!

  • Wow, those girls sound like a million bucks and Boz is record-perfect.

This is a #15 hit for Boz in 1980

I believe this was written by Mega-Producer David Foster of EWF/Chicago fame as well.

  • I don't recall ever hearing this before... but this song is the tits!

    As they say.

  • The lead guitarist looks like Rick from Pawn Stars.

  • Hot band...love the sisters!!

  • Wonderful

  • 7 people have GOT to be kidding... c'mon, seriously.

  • @WrecksKrieger 7 people had a justin bieber tape playing in the next room and got confused!

  • This one sends chills down my vertebrae. Got good nostalgic memories when this song came out in 1980. That was a great year for music. Not seeing anything like it these days.

  • How can you NOT like his music? That is just so hard to imagine...

  • Boz is fantastic. The band is the best ever. Monet and Barbara are wonderful. This is the best music that I have ever heard. These are real pros.

  • This is professionalism. Something that is sorely missing in today's music scene. Everyone plays an instrument and the singers are incredible. Boz is great and he knows how to put it down. No faking the funk here .

  • すばらしいですね。

    大人の気品があります。

  • Who are these AMAZING female vocalists? Incredible!

  • Liked him then.

    Love him now. T/Y !

  • Dont'cha just love Drew Zingg? What a smokin' groove!

  • Is there any musical style that this brother can't play? Rock Pop Soul and Disco you name it Bozz can do it.

  • Long Live Boz !! Just went to see him in April and desperately trying to go to NC this month and see again!

  • 6 people are clueless

  • @nickmclay Who is this old man that cannot sing, a bit like a tired Rod Stewart. His voice is weak and he struggles to reach the notes. He should be in a retirement home. Terrible.

  • @zinesilol88 This OLD MAN is a seriously talented blues guitarist with more gold and platinum on his walls than you can count........

  • @nmclay you're an idiot....a stupid freaking idiot...

  • @nickmclay and you are... anybody?

  • @eldon1961 and I care who YOU are because?

  • Back in '74 I think it was, Bozz, Steve Miller, and Bob Seager had a impromptu jam session in Austin; I wonder how many people wish they had a bootleg of that. Back then you could hear anyone from Jimmy Buffet to Willie Nelson playing with whoever walked up that they knew. I think even Alan Ramsey was there, which is why I thought of Buffett and Nelson (or rather Jerry Jeff Walker...) anyway, Bozz Scaggs IS underrated.

  • He ROCKED in Salem, VA!!!

  • Been digging this man since back in the 70's - and always will!

  • This song was the THIRD ENCORE played by Boz at the concert in Salem VA ---- what a Great artist and an outstanding concrt If you ever have a chance don't miss the BOZ

  • Will be in Salem to see the Boz with the RSO 4/8 hope your all tere --Great Artist love his music

  • @TheRichram Rock on when you see de man class voice ain,t seen him but am still a big fan.

  • Damn, that's really impressive--it's pretty damned cool.

  • Just awesome.

  • I'm in my mid 40's and when I first heard his songs long ago I just didn't realize how much musicality was involved! Wow. A lot of jazz stuff down deep in there along with a good story line. Appreciate it a lot more now.

  • Phat!

  • BOZINATOR! HE'LL BE BAACK!

  • Boz is the man, thank you for all your wonderful music

    Check out my tribute

  • Boz, Steve Millar and Tracy Nelson were part of my Madison existance during the mid 60's.

  • Boz used to play with steve miller blues band.when he formed his own group he really showed how to spell "Really damned good" loved the guy...huichol53...

  • I believe the crowd received their monies worth!!!

  • Excellent! I love this song and video

  • what could be better Boz scaggs and his bank?? I say! Daryl Hall and boz scaggs

    111 what could be better

    111

  • Classic tune....love Boz

  • Dowwnload the audio from this track at soundnabber doht cohm.

  • Boz will always make me smile, no matter what age he is singing the old stuff.

But how bout the two backup singers?!! Damn, they're on point....

  • WOW when was this recorded. he is still awesome and a smokin' groovin band. still love all his music

  • Boz, Boz, Boz: since you now have a wineyard in California, give them a gig they ll never forget and perhaps, only perhap,s you get the best harvest ever!

But when all is said and done: this is sooo goood!

  • that gtr player just nails it...as does the whole band...damn..

  • God, I love this song! (Just try sitting still as you listen!....) The "Greats" are always just as good live as recorded...often, better. And, as you know, the title "The One and Only" is frequently used without discretion. Well, this guy is not only one of the Greats, but he IS The One and Only...nobody sounds like Boz - never did...never will. He's in a class by himself.

  • @Mickagume : YOU have excellent taste...I just saw Boz last night in Sacramento Ca. and he never fails to delight and amaze.....what a legend.....I got so close to the stage that I was thinking , "I can't believe I am seeing this legend still performing, as good (or better) than ever! And he seems so laidback and truly a gentleman....

  • @DefLepLvr1 Thanks for the compliment! (I checked out your channel...like it!... I just subscribed!)

  • @Mickagume Yup, I tried sitting - couldn't do it! Was up dancing at my desk while the boss looked on in amazement!!!

  • I love the BOZ , yes the original BOZ not The Boss. This guy is the greatest there is and he still rocks. he should be in the Rock and Roll hall of Fame.. How can we do that all you fans!!! Posted by a greatful fan full of admiration for the great music from Boz!

  • That's why I purchased this DVD right away as soon as I saw this footage.

Boz Scaggs and this group of professional singers and musicians are the best in their fields and can never be imitated, compared at or equaled in this time and place. Boz and his playmaking friends (past, present and future) R-O-C-K !!!!!!

  • driving 90 miles an hour from Battleship Cove to Methuen, Ma...my bro in law scared the crap out of us but we made it:) I will always think of my sister and her family when i hear this:)

  • Listen Radio Música para Mimos. The best songs of love (search in Google)

  • Amen Brother, THAT is the way its done. What a band. Boz still got it. Would love to have a band that can groove like that.

  • here is a real group of musos!

  • I have'nt listened to Boz since the late 70's. My hair is standing on end hearing this again and I don't even have any! (hair). No wonder he ruled the musical earth back then with this album!

  • Is that Mike Keneally on the keyboard?

  • get the San. Fran. Concert DVD which this is from. Superb, every track a winner. I never tire of it. See and hear real muscians give a great performance. Why this guy was'nt a appreciated more over here in little ol England, is a mystery to me.

  • Incredible audio quality, thanks so much!!!

  • Smooth, smooth, smooth.......whew, everybody was hittin' on all cylinders that night.

  • reminds me of the happy times at CMU in the early 80s when I saw him in concert at MSU about 1982

  • Not necessary to reproduce Luke's solo almost note for note.

  • Diggin the backup singers!!! Yeah!!!!!

  • Been a fan since the 60's.First solo album recorded in Musce l Shoals Al. title Boz Scaggs Great album.1969 My favorite! But he got better and better

  • Absolutely fantastic.

  • I don't know how anyone can not like this song. Still holds up incredibly well. Great upload, thanks!!

  • I've been listening to this guy,s music since I was in my teens in the 70,s & 80,s and he just gets better with age. What a Smooth dude .

  • Background vocals is worth all the money for the ticket !

  • The song was awesome when it came out and its only gotten better Bozz Rocks

  • Love the song, but those are the best backup singers ever! and there is only 2!!!

  • Boz sounds terrific but without Jeff Porcaro the song just doesn't bounce like the original

  • Boz sounds terrific but without Jeff Porcaro, or a drummer of his quality, the song just doesn't bounce like the original

  • He just gets better and better throughout the years...Awesome..

  • It does not get more professional that Boz Live !

  • love this song love those back up singers

  • This man is a new cat to me, but how good is he? It is so nice to hear a great voice, splendid musicians perform sooooo good. Boz has this seldom laidback style and his timing is down to perfect. For this kind of music is doesn`t really get any better. All smiles :-)

  • Unbelievable.......can u tell it is not a studio track? it is that good.........unreal....

  • It doesn't get much smoother than Boz.

  • Boz is a great artist. You should see him live !!! I have 2 extra seats 8/25 in charlotte, 18th row face value .

  • chunky soul sisters supporting sonatas sinfully syrupy.

  • I am a Classical professional musician who mainly listens to classical but and can say he is one of the best vocalists EVER in popular music.Believe me I am fussy. He is very musical-I love his very disctinctive sound.NO-ONE else has that voice. He is like Elton-a one-off .

  • Havin a serious flashback to the DAY------8-tracks n cassettes n young people runnin wild----PAARRTTYYY!!!!

  • @cvoultra06 Oh yeah... 8 tracks....I think I still have a few in my garage somewhere...And even thought the songs play on the radio today you still sing it with that 8 track "bump" when the tracks had to change in a song

  • Oh! Yeah!!!!\(^O^)/

  • A favorite of mine ever since it hit the airwaves in the early 80s. Flippin' awesome!

  • thx Boz !!!

  • Great song and upload TroubleBoys!

    Got it in Favorites.

  • Can't say enough of Boz Scaggs music. For 30 plus years I have listen to his songs and until now there is no better music from the 70's and early 80's. None what so ever. Blue Oyster Cult, Areo Smith, AC/DC, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, and others. You get the picture. Todays music SUCKS.

  • @CrimsonChampions -couldn't agree more. music from the 60's thru the 90's has something todays music doesn't-substance!
