the sandbag gets so much damage that when the bomb explodes it sends the sandbag all away across the world at the speed of light at 50'000 km up in space but when it comes back from it's journey it bounces off the right egde of the platform that samus is on but when it is still in the air and reaches the middle of the platform the meter go's back to 0'0 and when it bounces off the right edge it lands in the 5'0 spot. Geez did'nt you see it?
