@Blackthorne2011 Actually my version predates Dosbox, it's from when real Dos was still a thing. I have no experience with the most recent releases. I set it up so long ago but I don't remember doing anything special or having any problems. Maybe you're not running the install program from within Dosbox, setting your sound card's IRQ was all the rage back in the real Dos days.

Had the same bug when I got the police quest collection, with the 3rd one as well. I had to use some 'turbo' program to slow my CPU down to 1/4th speed to get through it.

Of course the newer DosBox versions allows for the program to have a built in video recorder and sound recorder for Let's Plays and using Wingroove MIDI driver and setting the game to the MT-32 MIDI setting for the best music.

Dosbox can be played on MAC,Linux and some hacked consoles as well as any version of Widows from Xp and up.

I can't tell ya how many times I died in this game. You know they used to use it for actual training for officers? All the protocol, etc. etc.

that's the one good thing about this game. it gives the player a sense of what it's like to be a police officer, and it rewards the player for making right choices (which in the life of a cop often tends to be split seconds decisions which could determine life or death)
