Just saying, you should claim that all European countries accept Greek have lost their traditional music to mainstream pop, when Greek singeers colour their hair platinum blonde to live up to the same pop image. @Kemikaza84 lol man..... my family are all from Crete, and I assure you that we've never intermixed with anyone who wasn't greek, yet we're all blonde, red headed, blue and green eyed... If your opinion is that all greeks are dark haired and dark skinned, you need to do some research. I'll agree, the perception people have of most greeks is that they are dark, but you could say that of all arabs too, yet thers palestenians and jordanians that are blonde too...don't be so fast to stereotype...

I was just reacting on someone who claimed that Greece is the only country in Europe that has preserved it's true traditional music without being influenced and then I said that in THAT case, since the traditional non-mixed pure Greek is mostly dark haired and not platinum blonde, then the Greek pop stars should stop colouring their hair blonde, because that wouldn't be preserving Greek traditional culture without influence.

@Kemikaza84 : Look, I don't mean 2 b mean, but there is no stereotypical Greek look really, it depends where you come from,over the years borders have changed and Greeks from the north over years now have blond hair and blue eyes,some from other parts have dark hair and darker eyes, however this is not everywhere.I'm not saying this is just in Greece, but in other countries to,now with mixed marriages looks change, eg:a norweigan+greek may result in a blonde baby.

It's NO different from other European countries when it comes to preserving the culture. Although the song itself is excellent, great words, great music, the only thing that is really not doing a good enough job here is Thanos in my opinion. Perhaps I'm just used to the refined, natural singing styles of Xatzigiannis and Ploutarxos...but Petrelis seems to stress his voice far too much, he's trying to do vocal olympics and that's why it's so difficult for him to sing well in live performances...
