  • Damn, Ronnie Wood on the slide, folks

  • i'm not into that stupid battle rolling stones vs. beatles. i like both bands, but i have to say that let it bleed definitely wins against let it be. great rolling stones era!

  • true that bud

  • 4 assholes don't appreciate the real music

  • In live, it's really better :D

  • Sure gets ya rockin'

  • The Beatles = Let it Be

The Rolling Stones= Let it Bleed

  • @herejemolina haha i just realized that man

  • Never much liked the Stones, until now. This is Rock n Roll crystallized.

  • never liked the stones they sucked

  • Is Keef not the coolest cat ever?

  • As a bar band they're pretty good, but they're not as good as the Rolling Stones.

  • whisper words of wisdom, let it bleed..

  • the beatles are the best band on the fucking world

    amen

  • @Poxo182p3 The stones are the best band in the world, amen!

  • 100% STONIEN ,keith dieu vivant ,mick irremplaçable !! rebel 68

  • i like it ,stonien 100%, fan club rolling stones the best number one groupe sixties !!very gooddddddddddddd rebel 68

  • que envidia le tengo a la gente que esta presente en ese club viendo a los stones tan cerca y tan privado , que daria por vivir algo asi.

  • This sounds just like the Flatland boogie band but faster.

    Great stuff

  • when was this performed? they look the same

  • @sbeer6er it looks 1997 at a bar in Chicago before they started the bridges to babylon tour. the whole concert has been uploaded in pieces. double door saloon or something like that, chicago 1997.

  • Keef is great !

  • legion friday nite smokin table blues with a earth mama to keep me hardon all nite....:)

  • Love how the Stones are back where it all started. Small clubs. That's what makes them the best rock band of all time. They can play huge stadiums but then just pick a small pub or club and play and sound even better.

  • Just listened to tons of Beatles and God they sound great, but they can't touch the Stones. What Beatles albums come close to Exile, Let It Bleed, Beggars Banquet, Sticky Fingers, Some Girls or even 12x5 for that matter? Answer:none.

  • @MrYohodog I desagree. The Stones are the greatest group on earth, but the Beatles were something more. I don't know exactly what but something more. I listen to a Beatles album everyday and I 've never got bored.

And I have the answer to your question: Abbey Road, Let It Be, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, Beatles For Sale, Help, Please Please Me etc.

  • @kimonsk I respect you difference of opinion, the Beatles are probably my second favorite group (or is that The Clash LOL), I just feel there are huge weaknesses on the Beatles albums, such as "Octopus Garden" on Abbey, "Dig a Pony" from Let It Be, Sgt. Peppers reprise, "Honey Don't, Act Naturally are weak, Please Please me is a great album, but sounds nostalgic unlike all the aforementioned Stones albums in which almost every track is solid and has stood up against the test of time.

  • @MrYohodog Ok, I respect your opinion too, I just espress mine. And my second favourite group are the Stones. I agree that there are some weak songs, especially in their first albums, where weren't all the songs written by them.

  • @MrYohodog Right on, the stones are just in a different league. The greatest band ever!

  • What year is this?

  • @dsfddsgh 1969 I Think. It was released before the Beatles' Let it Be, but recorded after than the Beatles' song

  • @kimonsk Couldn't be even close to 1969. Keith looks really old in this video.

  • @dsfddsgh The song was written in 1969. I made a mistake. The video must be from arround the 90s. But it isn't enough clear to see.

  • When I grow up I want to Be A Rolling Stone :P

  • Love it - filthy, get-out-of-my-way type down-to-earth music.. like it used to be. A timeless classic, proving once again that the boys are the BEST. (And they don't give shit about proving it).

  • If you're going to post something this good, you could at least tell us a bit about it, like when and where they were playing. Otherwise, fab!

  • Thank You for THAT music!

  • the way the music should be presented instead of these big bolloxy stadium usa crap shows.

  • Yeah these guys are not bad...we could probably slot em in in the 6.00pm slot..just after the bingo....(LOL...uh....yeah ...right@?) ......Absolutely Awesome (wish I was there)..

  • Oh what I wouldn't have given to be here! It would have been so much fun! A lot of times they just decide to play a bar or small club when in town for a concert and they book it under a totally different name - can you imagine finding out who you had tickets for!!!!!!! Maybe one day I'll get lucky - keep on dreamin' right? Hey gotta keep on dreamin'. At least I have the honor of saying I met "The Keith" - what a great guy! Keep on rockin' boys!

  • Yes the greatest rock and roll band ever!

  • yeaaaa!!!

  • my favorite song ever!

  • ¡¡¡HEY I WANT TO BE LIKE THOSE GUYS WHEN I´M 60

    Thanks for posting.

  • @CurlyHairChris Must be your broadband.....s'fine for me.....

  • beautyfull! anybody knows what kind of pickup is on Mick's acoustic guitar?

  • This is fantastic. Playing a small venue absolutley suits them. They should do it more often. Thanks for posting it

  • Feel good music at it's best...

  • that happened to my uncle in the 80's in a club/bar in worcester, ma

it was in the afternoon and a band called "the cats meow" was gonna play.

my uncle told me this was a code for the "Rolling stones"

they locked up the bar and no one could get in or out. they played for 1 hour !

It was a tune up for there foxboro show which was the next night.

My uncle told me the band knew the owner of the bar and set up the

show there before the foxboro show. pretty cool ! UNREAL !

  • Who is on piano??? cant see, nicky??

  • ronnie on slide

  • Of all the film here - bar old stuff - this is the best I've heard the Stones....just shows that this is the environment that suits 'em best.

  • PEEEEEEEEERFECT! *--*

  • One of my favorite albums!

  • what year is this?

  • This is how the stones were meant to be

  • They try to beat Let it be??? what a waste of time i came hear waiting a great song and... desilution

  • @resiev15 You just need to get "STONED"!!!

  • This if fucking great. Thanks.

  • Oh to have been in a pub with the Stones!!!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't get any better than that. They sound soooo good and are just nice and relaxed and enjoying it probably more than the crowd. Good for them! They all look GREAT! Gotta love this!

  • Keef...the original punk!!!

  • I love the way Richards doesn't skip a beat as he throws his smoke on the floor and steps it out!

  • HERE YOU FEEL WHAT STONES IS SO GOOD !

  • ça c'est d'la zik !

  • How cool would it be to stroll into a pub for a beer and the Stones are playing ....

  • It would be VERY VERY COOL dude!! I can only wish!

  • @jsbruzina Yeah, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say they imposed a cover that night.

  • @jsbruzina that would be like a long life dream coming true

  • @jsbruzina That's exactly what happened in Richmond before they got a recording contract and started writing their own stuff. Mick was at the LSE then, though he missed more classes than he attended.

  • @jsbruzina Do ya think you would get in? Would be really cool though!!!

  • @jsbruzina got to catch some of the Stones with my GF at my local not many years ago...FANTASTIC...she ran off with Ronnie...came back tail dragin after more powder than even I could ever afford lol...still hang around me lol but not in her former space in MY parkin lot...STONES ARE AWESOME in any setting...certainly UNNASTAN LYRICS every which way!

  • What a great version! Thanks for posting this!

  • Yeah, its great to see them in this setting, a whole warmer sound. What a treat it must have been to be there. I am sure they love the smaller crowds too, everyone is closer. More eye contact.

  • I love this it is the most awesome rock blues, they are my top guys greatest band on the planet rock on ,love them and love all

  • i totaly agreed with blueswailer

  • No poncy clothes, no vast stage set, no multi-million quid light show. Don't it just let you know how good they really are. Raggedy-arsed rock 'n roll at it's absolute best!

  • I agree! They're at their best when they shed all the glitzy crap & get back to the basics! This is 1st rate stuff!

  • They like to pull a small venue every once in a blue moon I am just envious though happy for the ppl that were there in the audience - just an amazing night for all of them for sure. Reminds me of the story they pulled here in Atlanta back in 78 playing The Fabulous Fox Theatre unannounced - the only way ppl knew was walking by and seeing on the headline: TONIGHT - THE ROLLING STONES I'm sure that caused a ton of double-takes ha ha!

  • @blueswailer1952 Those raggedy-aresses are what makes them so great!!!

  • @blueswailer1952

    You are so right, man!!

    Greetings from Germany

  • Keith should let himself stay gray. It suits him and his frenetic hairstyle.

  • Then get the fuck out of here, fag. I hate you fuckin' ass-clown rock and roll pseudo-intellects who sit back and bash the best bands who rock because, what? Why? You jealous? You some loser musician playing out of your mama's garage? Think you can slide better than Ronnie or something? Fuckin' get the fuck out of here you don't like them.

  • Amazing slide by ronnie

  • Thanks for posting just love it..

  • My favorite song.

  • Yep...That's Chuck.

  • Would love to know who that was on piano. Was it Chuck Leavell?

  • Where was this??? And when?

    Absolutely fantastic...

  • Live gig at Double Door - Toronto

  • Double Door's in Chicago

  • Toronto or Chicago?
