i kinda miss the time when the show was mainly about stefan and elena and damon was only the annying brother.

don't get me wrong i still love the vampire diaries but with all this sacrifice-original vampire-delena love- thing it's just not the same anymore.

@Ambereigh i don't know how... sept for there was less brotherly love if any at all. Damon hated stef and didn't care about his feelings and tried to steal Elena from him every chance he got...and eventually he got a lot of kisses andblood out of it...and love.

I don't think that Damon will get with Elena until the last season, because it's a very important face of the story, so the fans will always gave this hope to see thus beautiful couple finally together . And I believe I prefer ti see Damon and Elena got slowly together so the show will last longer do as the story and it beauty.

stefan is like the high school boyfriend for Elena, he makes her feel safe, nad make her feel like love it's the greatest thing in the world, but when she starts having feelings for damon, he makes her feel out of control and scared, like it's eating away at her until there's nothing left. I bet she says love really sucks, because love makes her choice between two people she loves, but in the end it will be Damon ;)
