I played this mod, And with the TNS ( i think its called that ), The AI/Player gets all the capital ships, They were hiding in a asteroid field , Pretty good thing to look at till my base stars and heavy raiders/raiders came over and blew em all up

It's cool dude, but they way you filmed it is stupid. Its an RTS Game, not First Person Shooter. The mod for Freespace 2 handles that. You should have had more overview, and views of server things, then behind the ship all the time

so. i installed the mod and everything looks pretty cool, but theres that big problem:

i cant do anything!

on the first mission of the colonies fall i cant manouver any battlestar (though a guid to the game says to run away when columbia is being attacked and to get galactica to the as far away from there as possible), boomer just gets blown away, when she gets to her waypoint and when colonial one is being attacked its gone 2 seconds later. anyways i loose... any help? please?

Galactica isn't supposed to move. I had the same problem with Colonial One, but if you set Apollo to guard her and then move her when the raider shows up, her odds of surviving are infintely greater.

Very confused =[ i've got version 0.5.0 of fleet commander - the first mission is using two cylon baseships to blow up the negotiations outpost, and the second is docking Caprica 6's ship with a baseship - is this the same version as you guys? =/

I remember playing this. It was okay, though I couldn't pass the tutorial stage (convulded instructions).

The only nikpik that I had with the mod is that the fighters were to scale, or at least looked to scale with the larger ships. That's cool an all from a BSG fan's perspective, but it's not a very good game design choice imo. Not being able to see your fighters, even at default zoom, is kind of annoying and isn't very entertaining considering how awesome dog fights are.

if u ask me, jerky fighters is good in a way, i mean think bout it, ur in a zero-g environment, ur manouvering capabilities are thrusters which controls which way u turn, not the way u fly, in a zero-g environment, theyre bound to be oversensitive, so it gives u a feel for the environment, the nose controls which way u turn, not the tail like a conventional plane or fighter jet, in a space environment u have to rethink bout the craft, aerodynamics mean nothing in space, direction is the key
