  • Tell me my friend, is the g major easy to use and program?

  • @SECRET97ITA it is quite easy to use and fairly intuitive.

  • WOW, great video and FANTASTIC tone, man! Can you please tell me if it is possible to change the tap tempo with the midi device?

  • @SECRET97ITA thanks! g-major is a MIDI unit, you can tap tempo via MIDI device.

  • from 6:07-7:50 would you be able to get the same sound with the valvestate 100h?

  • @unitedspecies yes, it is the same unit. bear in mind, that cab makes a difference, I've got simple open-back 1x12" combo

  • Hi dude, nice tone, i wonder how you setup the g major with the marshall?? also, is there any footswitch or how do you control the g major ??... cheers man !

  • @joenuts i've plugged it to the fx loop. G major is a midi-controlled device, so you can use any midi controller of your liking (eq behringer FSB, tc g-minor or via laptop or sequencer, if you are using it extensively in your band).

  • sounds good! Also I have a marshall VS80. Do you think it's a good combination the g-major to the parallel loop of the Valvestate? Are the sound effects really as they should? Greetings and thanks!

  • @ddstalta I think it is really nice combination. Effects are really good, but with paralell fx oop you have to use killdry option or set the fx mix to 100%.

  • WOW....you got skill! and this is just your soundcheak >.< wish i could play that awesome....oh and btw that is an amazing sound! the distortion on that thing sounds like awesomesauce :3

  • would you reccomend this amp? does it get pretty loud? would you reccomend it to someone that is about intermediate level and cant afford a halfstack?

  • très belle démonstration

  • i also have that amp! :D

  • @lluka00 its a great amp. I have one, but its got a vibration inside of the head when the power comes on, its a very recent problem. Anyone know what could be happening?

  • @TheMetaladdict93 It could be a malfunctioning voltage regulator. Does it make a slight popping and/or fizzing sound when you switch it on?

  • i can hear that marshall hum in the background :)

  • man that speaker sounds so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet,,i have the vs 100 head and a 4x12 g65 celestion cab these amps really shine with good speakers ...wow i want a modeler now that i know they work good with these

  • Nice crisp tone

  • @wonka424

    thanks :) i'm glad u like it

  • 5:40 sounded like Lynch Tone!!! Nice demo and cool chops!!

  • I have the same amp and just moded my ESP guitar to the 18volt upgrade for the EMG 81/85 PU's and have got the 24volt mod upgrade, but haven't done it yet. Do you think the higher volts makes a difference? The reverb and distortion at the 3:15 mark is cool, but the distortion at 3:45 & 4:05 is the best example of the marshall vs tone. Nice leads. Peace.

  • no god do not do the 24 volt mod...18 volt is good ebough i did it too...24 volt will make it sound too transparent and clear...too organic

  • yes, it makes a lot of difference. try it for yourself. especially, if 9V EMG's are too compressed for you and you are not up to 80's thrash metal shred

  • i know i have the 18 volt mod on mine

  • 24Volt mod? How did you do it? did you mean 27volt?

  • The tone you got at 1:23 to 1:42 was very good.

  • Nice video. This is G MAjor one? What controller do you have?

  • HI!

your G-major is conectaded in to loop valvestate?

    Greetings!

  • yes, in fx loop

  • Parallel effects loop?

I also have a Valvestate, but a 8080 but the effects loop is parallel and the effects of modulation, tremolo, etc, do not sound right or are not as effective.

However, the G-major sounds good in your amp!

    Greetings!

  • VS100 has a parallel FX loop with 0-100% mix, so at 100% mix it is a regular serial loop. You MUST set FX to 100% to connect g-major, otherwise you will have out-of-phase problems with modulations effects because of conversion lag. You have to mix wet and dry signals via g-major. You should do the same with most of the modulation effects, especially digital. With all digital processors you have conversion lag and you should NOT mix processed signal with dry, unprocessed from preamp.

  • I hate G-Major Soundcheck.

  • wow *__*

  • you have to cut very much of ur paul to accomodate the emgs? i have an epi custom too, thought about doing it to mine

  • I did not have to cut out anything, they fit perfectly, and 3 9V batteries as well.
