@rupeshshoaib For committing crimes during her first life, Ushna was condemned by Yeti to remain under the form of a statue next to a gate located near the ocean, which explains why she knows about the ocean's sound.Later on, some dudes stole the statue's head and put it into a coffer, which was accidentally opened by Jalan and his gang while they were robbing ppl. So Ushna was directly set free, she had no belly button, coz she didn't have to get reborn this first time. Sex scene's a flashback
@Bananenmilch123 What do you mean it's a flshback? I studied a lot to understand this great movie and it is my favorite since the first time i saw it. Even though not everything was clear to me. One thing i dont get is the flashback you are talking about and another one is the light up the mountains that seemed to scare them.
It seems to be a commentary on abstinence from love of the human kind practiced mostly in the monasteries. The essence is very similar to Samasara though this is much darker dealing with the kinds of voodo and dark magic rather than spiritual experimentations, as in the first one. One could question the validity of the eternal love that is portrayed between the protagonists as much as anything else.
@pranjalswarup This movie was made by a person who wanted to talk about romantic love within the context of time. It's nonsense, but it's well filmed nonsense.
@murano33 Im nt sure if i interpreted correctly..if u notice the first few scenes of the movie, when Jalan's gang is attacking the civilians a face (statue) falls out of a box and then Ushna appears..Ushna has been in love with Jalan even before so she falls in love again...end of the movie she becomes again a statue...This is one of my best movie and im a fan of Pan Nalin's movie

I didnt understand anything damn!!!
no1 ok so who was ushna??????? and why was yeti after her.
No2 when jalan saw her having sex wid some invisible thing on the tent, wat was dat?
No3. how did jalan died while he was immortal.
Lots of questions but hope some one will help me.
rupeshshoaib 1 year ago
@rupeshshoaib The Yeti makes Jalan dies in order to restore the balance that he had broken for
living longer than he should have. Then he turns Ushna into a statue again and bring her
back to the gate, until the story eventually repeats itself. The make-up Ushna has under
the eyes at the start, is the tears that Yeti makes come out of her when she's a statue,
note the importance of the make-up that the Japanese woman also wears, it's a
sign that fate and karma can't be changed.
