Clue scrolls were crazy money for a lower leveled player back when you didn't get an item every time. I made 30m in one weekend with no skills over 80 one time. Level 2 clue scrolls, got ranger boots twice and some other good items.

I've noticed something.

90% of the time, it's the assholes that think they're better than everyone else, that always get the good drops. While nice, lower lvld people who do the same thing, at the same rate, never get good drops.

Example. I, at lvl 103, wend to bandos gwd with a friend, and one of his friends, who was a big ass. In 5 kills, with loot share on, he got 3 bcp's and a hilt. My friend and I got maybe 50k in crap drops.

yea... i feel for you tho. clues tend to suck. I did like 30 or so lvl 3's on my main and still the best clue i ever got was a lvl 1 on what was then one of the first summoning tanks.
