  • I want to remove my tonsils so bad because I get a lot of infections but my ENT won't do it. How did your Dr decide it was the right thing to do? Thanks for sharing!

  • @AnasJourney Well he decided based on a couple things. First because i've had strep 5 times in the past year. The 5th strep led to a very bad case of tonsillitis and my Romola are also cryptic...they had holes filled with pus lol eww

  • @mrsmommy81 lol I mean my tonsils ate cryptic lol

  • @mrsmommy81 Ok, thanks so much for sharing, I will make an appointment to see my Dr because I ended up in the ER a week ago with an infection and they suggested removing them but I'm afraid my Dr won't agree :( Thanks XO!

  • @AnasJourney Oh you are so very welcome:) I am so glad that this experience of mine has been educational to others:) That is exactly what I had hoped for:) I totally feel your pain...I have a kindergartener at home & she is exposed to so many illnesses & this has been a bad year for me probably b/c of this. I look forward to not getting sick so much, but its a heck of a hard way to go about it :( But so worth it after its said & done. Let me know how it goes & good luck!! xo

  • are you having pus?

  • @pugibala yes I was having pus. My tonsils were cryptic and filled with pus.

  • Oh no! So sorry to hear that girl! Hope you get well soon!

  • @ReillyAJ thank you so much Reilly!

  • I hope your surgery goes well. I had it done as a child and I heard it's a pretty serious surgery as an adult. I'll be thinking of you.

  • @jollyjess6 thanks so much! I've heard that too. Not looking forward to the recovery:(

  • Sorry to hear you will need surgery! Praying for a speedy recovery!!

  • @cruisegirl0805 thank you so so much for the prayers! It means so much!

  • Wow, you have gone through the ringer with this health stuff!!! So sorry!! That comment was not helpful from the doctor

  • @alandamandamama I know...and it all makes sense now...Ira these daggone tonsils keeping me sick :(

  • Ive suffered from tonsilitis since i was about 9 and luckily when i stopped smoking 3 years ago the tonsilitis stopped but i almost had to have them removed.... Good luck kelly I wish you a quick and safe recovery lots of popcicles and ice cream :)

  • @purplespirit79 wow glad you didn't end up needing the surgery! I had no idea smoking could cause it. I don't smoke, but I smoked before having kids. I have gotten strep 5 times this past year....I think in a 14 month period. Thanks for the well wishes! And congrats on no smoking for 3 years! Bet you feel so much better!
