Look up the definition of disease. Disease is any state that is altered from the human healthy norm. Diseases can be developmental, genetic, infectious, caused by environmental conditions or multifactorial (a combination of two or more of the before-mentioned). Cancer can't be "caught", but it is a disease.
I agree with the comment below. I'm 16 and I was born with a Bilateral cleft and palate lip and it is far from a "disease." People should really get that straight . We don't have a disease and there is nothing wrong with us . If anything I am very proud to have this "disease" as some may call it.
disease? my son had a cleft lip and palate, and it sounds odd to call it a disease... its not like its gunna kill you... its just a birth defect. but hey... what do I know.
Would you call Blindness a disease as well? That's just a little ridiculous. It's not a disease it's a birth defect.

There's a difference between a disease and a deformity. You can't catch a cleft lip...this video has an obnoxious word choice.
