It sounds Hispanic to you? It reminds ME of the South African national anthem. The fourth line of this song for the blue and the orange and the white!) are almost the same melody as the 2nd line of Die Stem (uit die diepte van ons see). That line is near the end of the current national anthem, which now consists of two distinct melodies sung in four different languages.

My best wishes go out to Texas-San Antonio in trying to bring their football program up and running and strong. I first heard this fight song with the "College Hoops 2Kx" games. It's a lovely fight song. One of my favorite Southland Conference fight songs besides those of Texas State, Sam Houston State, and Lamar (returning to football).
