I was diagnosed with APBA in 2001, after being hospitalized twice for pneumonia.
SInce then I have had relapses almost once per year, which I treat with prednisone. Usually take 30 mg per day for 3 days, reduce to 20, 10, 5 . try to get off it as soon as I can.
