  • this video is a piece of crap the best est hot honey rag is from Bianca Marroquin the star of chicago this isnt even close ew!!!!

  • Me gusta las canciones de la pelicula

  • love Roxie I get to be here in a version of this!

  • The dancing is great but this isn't the hot honey rag.

  • This is NOT the best hot honey rag ever.. it doesnt even use the original choreography and is so much more boring that the stage version.

  • Their legs though. They seem to go on for miles.

  • I'd like to see Lady Gaga do THAT!

  • It's hard to believe that 'Roxie' and 'Bridget Jones' is the same person...

  • this is amazing

  • at my school we were doing this so i auditioned and got Roxie I'm sooo excited she's awesome!!!

  • i love this song

  • i loove thiis fiilm !! me encantaa !!

  • Areee esta obra *w* espero y salga igual de buena ke la peli xD

  • Our Marching show is called "Themes from the Windy CIty" and we're playing this. rag time on the field, baby.

  • @Godren0 this is from 2002....

  • what is the name?

  • Renee is amazing! is great!

  • les nuits s'allongent les jupes raccourcissent...

  • @ElfieGreenieGurlie1 u do realize i was comparing HSM's popularity to the awesomeness of this right? i despise HSM, it is diffidently not awesomeness

  • I love chicago, but i don't know who I like better Velma vs Roxie XD

  • amo esta al igual q all that jazz

  • are best, is perfect.

    live renee .

  • my friends and I loooooooooooove this movie.

It's like part of our identity.

  • i whant to lurn that dance really bad :)

  • the creepy part is yesterday i was singing this song to myself when i was working on a script last week by the time i got to the 3 rd verse i actually scared myself cause i thought it was someone else singing not me ^^

  • was this supposed to be a "dream" or was this reality?

  • @helloamy2010 reality

  • I'm 12 and I love this movie/musical!

  • high school musical eat yo heart out!!!!!!

  • I love this musical so much

    Like no lie haha

me and my friend can sing almost all of Cell Block Tango

  • one of the most estetically pleasing movies ever, this scene is a big part if that

  • epic! :D

  • when the audience fling the roses, I do it as well toward my TV with the roses i got here

  • This is one of the few songs that aren't performed in Roxie's imagination- while almost every song in this film are fantastic. I think the real ones are some of the best

  • I love how they have different personalities in this video :) Like Ikinhaaaa said, Catherine was more elegant but it totally fits with her character in the movie because Velma was a more seasoned performer and had more experience so she performs with a lot more class. But Renee was great too because Roxie would be more flirty and bouncy since it would have been her first big show. Both women played their characters amazingly!

  • isnt the one wih black hair Honey from eastenders

  • @DaneilleJones No, this one is Catherine Zeta-Jones. I think the one from Eastenders was Emma Barton. However, she DID play Roxie (the blonde one in this clip) in the UK production of the musical.

  • i taught this to a 3 yaer old!

  • I have watched the whole film about 5 times since my first time seeing Tuesday. I have seen this scene in particular about 40 times since Tuesday :)

  • WOW.

    AMAZING.

  • 55 people do not like the life they're living, nor live the life they like.

  • I had more fun watching this just this one scene than I did watching the whole of NINE.

  • Definitely my favourite musical of all time

  • Can't wait to see The Divine Ms.Gwyneth Paltrow have a go at this.

One thing's for sure - she's got the legs for it!

  • I remember when I first saw this movie...I still get chills when the backdrop first flashes on. Loooove CHICAGO and can't wait for Glee to pay homage to such a classic.

  • @sv564708

    ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?!!!

OMG- I WILL SO WATCH IT THEN!

I've recently been turned off by Glee b/c it's not how it used to be. Their Rocky episode sucked! The whole show is starting to suck, but if they're doing a Chicago homage, I'm sure I will start watching again!! I hope they make a Madonna sequel too!

  • @MadonnasMrDj They're just doing "Nowadays/Hot Honey Rag" from CHICAGO, but from the promo it looks great. They're also doing a "Singing in the Rain/Umbrella" mash-up and "Make 'Em Laugh".

  • THEIR DOING THIS ON GLEE! i hope because of the preview, it looks JUST like this :D and musicals are beautiful!

  • does anybody else notice how at the end when everyone is clapping, they keep switching sides?

  • The music, singing and dancing is phenomenal in this film. Great stuff

  • i danced this at school :)

  • Me and My Sycronised skating team are skating to this for the British championships its gonna be great!!!

  • @msdanger1000 Cool, whens championships?

  • Masterpiece

  • I abosolutely LOVE this part of the movie!! So great!! :)

  • 4:01 - the Gollum speaking??? :D

  • i love all this jazz...makes me wanna dance on stage with 'em XD

  • WOW 55 Justin Beiber fans hit the thumbs down button!!! this is off the chain!!! great show, great movie CHICAGO is perfect in every way!!!

  • haha what a stupid dance :D But music is great

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones is definitely my favorite in this movie, but this particular number is really more of Renee's thing. CZJ is great in this of course, but the style just isn't hers, in my opinion. This number is almost too... cute... for lack of a better word. She does the "sexy" ones (All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango, etc.) better than RZ could. Besides, in the set-up of the movie, this is obviously Roxie's big hit. Then again, voice wise, CZJ defiantly overpowers RZ.

  • Catherine just has it naturally. whereas Renee looks kinda more rehearsed! there both good! but i just feel it more from CZD! :)

  • inspiration pour les galas greg charles mymymymymymy

  • "The best ever"? What the hell!? This is great and the production is awesome, but seriously people. Strictly on their dancing, Neuwirth and Ziemba FOR THE WIN.

  • @anonymous411 Bebe is the best Velma!!!!

  • I love this song.

  • So Hot, As always! Never Get tired of this~

  • @zincopper it IS called 'hot' honey rag lol

  • Catherine's more elegant and "composed"(so to speak) but I find Renee more fun to watch, more enthusiastic. But they're both great. I love Chicago, and this is one've the best songs from it. "Razzle-dazzle 'em!"

  • "Let's make the parties longer, lets make the skirts shorter!"

One of the lines I can always recite when watching this movie.

  • I LOVE CHICAGO!!!

  • this is one of few movie adaptions of musicals that i like

  • A love this musical, esta sensacional

  • High School Musical sucks! This one is true Musical

  • @huykute06 hey they are both very good musicals :(

  • Catherine is more elegant ánd she looks more experienced, but because she plays Velma that doesn't matter because Velma is a more experienced performer too.

  • I agree...

  • @annemiiek of coarse catherine has more experience than anyone in this film....shes been singning and dancing since she was a kid

  • this was always my favorite in the whole world, i would watch this movie over and over and over i was like 10/11 yrs lol...this songs bomb dig :)

  • My besties ballet is wayyy better

  • Q si me gusta...me fascina...

  • So great :D

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones is MARVELOUS in this movie!!!!!

  • What I find extremely impressive is that both of them are in heels the whole entire scene and not one mistake! Of course pratice paid off.

  • @childishluv Well, it's not really ONE scene, it's about 40 camera shots and 120 takes.

  • @camperjohn6464 Somehow that doesnt really suprise me

  • I haven't seen it completely but it looks a great movie

    I L I

  • gorgeous, BRAVO!!! luv da music too

    kiss kiss ranee, yr wonderful!

  • Love the part at 2:10 <3

  • Cats, and Caberet were better but this is top five.

  • Cats - meh

    Cabaret - well,it's totally different,but i agree

    I'd say it's in top 3.

  • I have to say, Catherine does it better then Renee or however you spell her name.

  • this is the best musical i have ever seen.

i just laugh at the little kids who say 'high school musical'.

  • I know! Chicago is for sure in my top 5 musicals of all time.

  • @winxclubrox23 If Chicago is just in the top 5, what are your other favs?

  • This isn't in any order, but:

Wicked, Grease, Wizard of Oz, Annie and Chicago.

  • @winxclubrox23 I prefer Cabaret... My five favorites would be Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, Sunday in the Park with George, Cabaret and Wicked... But it's much too complicated to get it down to 5 as all Sondheim and Kander&Ebb is great...

  • I'm in middle school and this is one of my favorite movies! High School Musical is so lame compared to this.

  • I totally agree, but High School Musical is lame compared to everything.

  • What's the point of even comparing HSM to anything in the first place? It won't stand a chance.

  • Why the hell are you replying to me? i am watching this video to be happy, not hear your stupid fake rants!

  • Lovely song, and dance! Beautiful and great actresses! I must've seen this thirty times! My first of many musicals to see!

  • i love this song...i've seen the video about a million times...

but roxie's hair is a complete and utter mess in the song.

    i still love her though.

  • My favorite song of the movie =)

  • catherine is just plain AWESOME!!!

  • that was amazing that's al i have to say :)

  • I think Catherine is more elegant than Renee. But I love both of them.. Catherine and Renee were great at this film!

  • @Ikinhaaaa "Velma" is more stage polished, but "Roxie" has more raw enthusiasm.

  • @Ikinhaaaa Renee is more sassy ... and that's what this scene is all about.

  • @Ikinhaaaa You're right, as Catherine was a professional dancer before becoming an actres in Wales.

  • i would never beleive renee zellwegger is bridget jones. :S

  • @HannahJMmm now everytime I hear renee zellwegger in a british accent, I automatically think of bridget jones...

  • I like these actresses playing these roles... but, I do wish more of the stage show was IN the film. Just for example, this song should be longer. I'm not even gonna touch on the dancing. I just think they should have kept the whole song.

  • Man musicals are so underrated in our society. People have no clue how much talent and hard work it takes to do this kind of stuff. I don't know how more people are entertained by sports when we have this.

  • Tacoflavoredkiss1: I agree! These people work their butt off but they don't get half the recognition they deserve. I get that sports are important to America, but I consider these people the ultimate athletes--sing, dance, and act (for girls, in heels).

  • RIGHT? like seriously, its kind of obnoxious, they don't have a clue how hard this is lol. It takes more than throwing a ball around.

  • I honestly get pissed off at American culture at times--these women are vastly talented and have trained just as hard or harder than athletes, and sing/dance/act 8 times a week. I don't see athletes playing 8 times in front of an audience a week.

  • Tottaly! and all the popular artists these days can hardley sing standing still. It's quite annoying.Plus the athletes get payed more than broadway stars which is unfair.

  • and this actually takes thought; being on the same cue the whole time is hard work and takes a ton of concentration and practice.

  • Yup. XD As much as I love some of my band singers, they don't hold a candle to musical singers. Musical singers have to be able to at least dance a little, and definitely isng and act.

  • @Tacoflavoredkiss1

That is so damn true! This take so much more!

  • @Tacoflavoredkiss1 I love musicals, but I'm also into football, I love them equally. (:

  • @gahrGoyl well thats good!! as long as you have respect MT because I know a lot of athletes think its stupid haha. But yeeah!!!

  • @Tacoflavoredkiss1 haha i love your name! But anyway, it's sorta ironic, after a long football practice getting my butt kicked all over the place during conditioning, I go home with my dad and listen to modern millie or chicago or wicked. It's way better than some headbanger crap. especially after a headbanging practice. (no pun intended)

    :P

  • @gahrGoyl I agree!! and haha thank you

  • @Tacoflavoredkiss1 I'd like to see Payton Manning or any of those bigs sports names do this.

  • granted, but sport is unscripted...@Tacoflavoredkiss1

  • @Tacoflavoredkiss1 Sports take away the plot aspect. It's all about the struggle and the pain and getting through it to win it. And that's the big problem. This about thinking in less of a two-dimensional way and disecting the story and stuff. Football takes talent, too. Just a different kind and less elegant than any sense of musical theater.

  • @Tacoflavoredkiss1 I completely agree. I was once in a musical, and a rather minor role at that, but it was hard work even for me.

  • Two Allen's lol

  • Are you kidding?

  • You'd never really know that Catherine was about 7 months pregnant in this scene... Awesome!

  • I know! No one believed me when I told them this.

  • You can see it in the begginning of the scene. I mean, there is a huge bump under that white coat... They do an okay job hiding, but if you know what to look for, then you can see it!

  • Really? Woah. I'd never of known!

  • It is an urban legend. She got pregnant right after filming and was pregnant while filming her nEXT movie..."Traffic"

  • Nah, I don't believe it, not when you can see it right in the beginning where they're obviously trying to hide the bump...

  • Just Google "was Catherine Zeta Jones pregnant during Chicago" and you will get the proof it is false including dates of the births of her 2 kids, the filming dates, etc.

  • i love this film :D

  • They look incredible..

  • can't beat renes eagerness

  • I love it how it ends in All That Jazz.

  • I love Catherine's smile!

    Awesome dance, they're both great!

  • very deserving it's best picture win :)

  • I absolutely <3 Kander & Ebb!

  • I have seen over 50 Broadway show and I must say that Chicago rules. Wow and the movie was fantastic. i was blown away by renee Z.s performance and to think she is not a trained dancer or singer like C.Z Jones!!!! Fantastic freaking song!!!!!!!!

  • GOD thats beautiful! lol luv this film and sequence so much

  • Great number. One of t he best of the top 100 movie musical moments. Love it.

  • I like the original with Chita Rivera and Gwen Verdon much more! Sorry for the fans of this version!!

  • our kick routine is to a medley of chicago!

  • i see happiness in this movie. i wish i could knew the continuation of it. maybe velma kelly will kill roxie ? lol. one of the most spectacular movies i've ever seen .

  • I hafta say, I recently saw the stage version, and I think that as far as coreography goes, the movie is much more fun to watch...

  • love the way the bow is cut. really has a frantic style to it. which looks fantastic in my opinion.
